AMBUS Training Opportunities

Current Training: Based on PowerPoint presentations, without access to

analytics and KPIs, is antiquated, ineffective, and lacks evaluation

Live training is difficult to replicate, expensive, and is not consistent

Costs: On average the cost for each Austin EMS professional’s CEU’s per year

is $18,967 (physical presence, reconstruction of training environments)

Continuing Education: Existing training infrastructure does not provide

access to efficient and immersive continuing education

Why AR/VR Training?

Cities pay more than $10

billion/year for the training of

8,000,000 First Responders

and their training still remains

“Analog” and Outdated.

Shortcomings of Existing Training:

• Logistics: getting people in one

training location is difficult

• Costly: it can cost to cities $100k-

$500k per training event

• No Replication: learning requires

replication. Hard to get trained

periodically

• No analytics: there is no feedback

and performance analytics
