3. Optimisation / Evolutions

3. Enhancements / Changes The properties of users, families and circuits are now displayed in the real-time events
window filters.
Management of the Morpho Multimodal biometrics (finger vein network + fingerprint) + MIK6:
To switch to SPC version 3.1, uninstall the previous drivers and license manager.
Install Morpho License Manager and 32- or 64-bit USB pilots (available in the SDK section of version 3.1 SPC). In this package, you will find model configurations for configuring biometric readers with a USB key (see details in the “Read-me” file).
Update the Morpho terminals to the latest version available, at least to version 3.4.4 (3.6.4 for MA V-P readers). The MSO must be updated to the minimum version 11.03.g. These firmwares are available in the SDK section of version 3.1 SPC.
Select the type of biometrics that you want to use at the site. In our example: “Multimodal combining the finger vein network and fingerprint" in Configuration / Others / System Configuration / Biometrics:
Select "Finger VP sensor" in Configuration / Others / Workstation:

You also need to edit your Biometrics 1/1 DESFire "encoding / decoding" profiles (in fingerprint only mode and multimodal mode):
o Fingerprint only Mode: the File length needs to be changed to 432
o Multimodal Mode: the File length needs to be changed to 1344
Acquisition is carried out in the same way as a normal fingerprint acquisition.
Addition of the option to include an empty <UniquenessColumn> in config.xml so as to
launch several architectures (but if two people make changes in the architecture at the same time, only the last one to confirm their changes will have their changes take effect).
Addition of the option for an operator to manage a list of prohibited accesses:

Development Summary SMI Server 3.1 SPC Electronic Security
Addition of a new screen giving a list of users who are authorised to use an
access (Operation / User / Authorisations per access) :
In the Encoding process, new option for generating tags = "8-byte (max) Tag generated randomly".
Only authorised for Electrical Customisation and Biometrics 1:1 type encodings on Mifare Classic and DESFire and on Biometrics 1:N
The data for the associated encoding profile must be "Tag generated or decoded by the process" type, and the encoding format must only be digital, except – obviously – for biometrics.
Constraint: The profile the data of which to be encoded is "Tag generated or
decoded by the process” must be in the first position if the process has several profiles.

4. Fixes
Issue tracking Patches Sub-systems
Correction to the way in which real-time events windows are saved / restored. GUI
In multiproperty and guard tour mode, guard tour events were not displayed in the real-time events window. GUI
The sound was no longer played when passage was visually confirmed. GUI
Problem entering data in “Date” type user fields: When manually entering a date in this type of field, if a year is typed that is earlier than the current date's year (2015, in our case), all of the fields are reset to "01/01/1950". The date entered is therefore completely wrong
GUI
Correction to the time management module (problem calculating presence times on all of the pages). GUI
Problem: It was impossible to unhide the keys if the passwords were longer than 8 characters GUI
Problem: Impossible to change several (unsaved) parameters including the "default key application” in the root’s “DESFire Configuration” key GUI
Problem: DESFire encoding with application already created and non-functional change in key and version: In our case, the access control application has already been created by another system, but no file has been created in this application
GUI
51 Problem: When printing out information about a user, the PIN code is always unencrypted – irrespective of what the operator has selected GUI
User field management problem (Boolean and date) in the user filters GUI
Problem: In the Web GUI on the user record sheets, the calendar was truncated for the "validity end" date field in the "Access" section Web

Issue tracking Patches Sub-systems
Problem: Intranet server / creating a user. Multiproperty context. When creating a user via a workstation on the Intranet, the list of available properties is displayed. Irrespective of the "selected" property, the first property in the list is allocated, thus becoming its membership property
Web
Problem: When right-clicking in order to display the video for an event in the real-time events window, an error message appears GUI
The alarms to be acknowledged were not displayed in the list of alarms for the “alarms to be acknowledged” plug-in when no printer schedule had been defined and a real-time events window had been defined in the printout code associated with the acknowledgement.
GUI
11 Schedule refusal problem on multifamily with start and end date on the families SM400
28 Operator rights in multiproperty mode: exception if operator A selects an operator B who does not have one of operator A’s properties GUI
Performance problem on the schedule and special days screens: optimisation of database DB
Correction of improper management of inhibited status for software incompatibility
Field server
Optimisation of the messaging system between the client workstation and the server (reduction in the size of exchanges): processing of untimely loss in communication
Field server
Correction when the MIB bus is reset after uploading the SM400 (to prevent 1 second MIB COM faults when the SM400 is restarted) SM400
When the application is updated to a major new version, the SM400’s data tables are reset to their factory settings: It therefore needs to be uploaded after the application. The logs are also deleted
