clear and simple Hana Table by Shige Hasegawa shige hasegawa is a Japanese designer with an international outlook. he has worked in both Japan and Denmark and has developed a unique style that infuses both cultures resulting in designs that are simple, elegant and meaningful. ‘hana’ is the japanese word for flower. the design of the Hana table was inspired by the japanese origami (paper folding) t e c h n i q u e a n d u s e s fi v e interlocking, plywood, petal-shaped legs with no screws or nails to hold the glass top.
