Introducing our SRC Leaders

The SRC represents the views of the students of Rose Park Primary School. The SRC is an integral part of the

decision-making, which occurs through the school. Over the coming weeks, each Snapshot will introduce our

Introducing SRC Leader: Diana B.

As an SRC Leader, I hope to… help enhance the reputation of Rose Park Primary School

in different aspects.

Something you don’t know about me is… that I moved to Adelaide from Sydney in 2016.

It was hard since I had lived there for most of my life but I am absolutely loving Adelaide

and the people here.

I read… I love reading books like Harry Potter (by J.K Rowling) and Wonder (by R.J

Palacio). I love classics as well, and have recently started reading Little Women (by

Louisa May Alcott).

I like to… I have been playing tennis for just over a year now and loving playing in my free time. One thing I

would really love to try in the future is photography.

I listen to… soundtracks from movies such as, The Greatest Showman, and some Disney movies, but I also like

listening to singers like Adele and Vance Joy.

One day I hope to… get a job that will not only be beneficial to me, but to those around me as well.

If I could change something in the world, I would… like to help less-fortunate people in third-world countries.

The best thing about Rose Park Primary School for me is… definitely the people. From the kids to the staff, Rose

Park is so inclusive and welcoming. :)

Someone I really look up to is… There are so many people I look up to for different things, these include

Zendaya and Emma Watson for being so hospitable and always standing up for what they believe in. I also

really look up to my parents because of so many reasons, the main ones being that they are loving, inspiring

and hard-working.

Introducing SRC Leader: Claudia B.

As an SRC Leader, I hope to… help, motivate, listen to and represent all the students at

Rose Park Primary. I also hope to make every student at Rose Park feel valued and

respected.

Something you don’t know about me is… that I love to go surfing whenever I have an

opportunity. My favourite surfing location is at Long Beach, Robe.

I read… books with strong, independent young female protagonists who stand up for

their beliefs.

I like to… spend my spare time singing, dancing, acting and playing netball.

I listen to… others’ opinions and ideas with respect and an open mind.

One day I hope to… become a strong leader and be an important part of making decisions that will affect

the world and our future.

If I could change something in the world, I would… make politicians address climate change immediately!

The best thing about Rose Park Primary School for me… is being part of a cooperative, respectful and positive

school community and the fun events that are held, such as, sports day, charities day and casual clothes day.

Someone I really look up to is Emma Watson… because… she is both an actor and activist who uses her

influence to fight for female rights and education around the world.
