Physical fitness and mental resilience!

Pupils will have 4 hours of skiing lessons per day (24 hours of skiing activity within 6 days)! Beginners are likely to fall over many, many times and will then need to push themselves back onto their

feet. This will put a lot of stress on their bodies. Mental resilience should not be underestimated!

It will greatly help if they can undertake some basic exercises prior to the ski trip.

Sit ups / Sumo squats star jumps etc.. – anything where the muscles are being used continuously for a period over 30 seconds will all help build up muscular endurance.
