Preparation:Base the entire board with Soft Black. Apply a wash of Bleached Sand to the top & bottom sections of the board. Apply washes of Snow White over the Bleached Sand. Add washes of Foliage Green to the second & fourth sections of the board and washes of Santa Red to the center section of the board. Float the edges of each section with Soft Black. The background stars are dry brushed with Bleached Sand and the background dots are Snow White.

Painting Instructions:Moon – Dry brush the entire moon with Lt Buttermilk and then with Moon Yellow. Dry brush the left side of the moon again with Moon Yellow. Dry brush again with Canyon Orange and then shade with Honey Brown. Highlight the moon with Lt. Buttermilk. Dry brush a glow around the moon

with Lt. Buttermilk and then Snow White.

Snowman – Base with Snow White and shade with Fawn. Dry brush the cheeks with French Mauve. The highlight dot on the cheek is Snow White. The eyes and mouth are Lamp Black. Base the nose with Canyon Orange and shade with Burnt Orange. Add outline with a perma-nent ink pen. The hat is based with Lamp Black and highlighted with Snow White. Base the vest and hatband with Foliage Green and shade Soft Black. Dilute Soft Black and add the black stripes to the vest and hatband. The white lines are Snow White. The red hearts are Santa Red and the white buttons are Snow White. Base the scarf with Santa Red and shade with Soft Black. Dilute Soft Black to ink consistency and add the black lines on the scarf. The white lines on the scarf are Snow White. The fringe is Soft Black. The red dots on the hat are Santa Red and the white star burst is Snow White. Base the arms with Sable Brown and shade with Soft Black. The snow on the arms and hat is Snow White. Float snow piles under the snowman with Snow White. Add details with a Black Identi Pen.

Bells – Base with Moon Yellow and shade with Honey Brown. The details and stars on the bells are Honey Brown. The red bows on the small bells are Santa Red and the white hangers are Snow White. The bows on the large bells are lines of Santa Red and shaded with Soft Black. Float snow under the large bells with Snow White.

Lettering – Base with Soft Black. The white dots are Snow White.

Finishing: Finish with several light coats of Americana Acrylic Spray Sealer/Finisher - Matte
