INSTRUCTION TO STUDENT :Read the text carefully and match the details with the questions given.

It was raining heavily in the afternoon. Mak told me to close the back door in the kitchen. As I was closing the door, I saw that the drain was almost full of water. I didn’t think much about it and went back home to my room.

At about 4 p.m., I switched on the television to watch my favourite programme. Then the telephone rang. It was our neighbour, Mrs Ravi. She told Mak that her kitchen was flooded and asked us to check ours. My mother thanked her for calling us.

Immediately we rushed to the back of the house to check the drain. It had not overflowed yet. Mak gave instructions to carry the table fan, kitchen gadgets and other small electrical items upstairs. I felt exhausted after making countless trips.
