As we strive to proclaim the gospel, we remain aware and committed to evangelization: living, manifesting and embodying the message of Jesus Christ and of His Church on a diocesan, parish, and personal level. Evangelization relates to everything we do as we respond to a growing and diverse Catholic community. We must reach out to the many alienated and un-churched among us, as well as work for Christian unity through ecumenical/interfaith partnerships. We must work to develop appropriate means to pass on the gift of faith to succeeding generations. Evangelization permeates all of our goals.

Bishop Robert Barron's E U C H A R IS T Sacred Meal, Sacrifice, Real Presence In Eucharist, Sacred Meal, Real Presence, Bishop Bar-ron offers inspiring insights into the mystery of Christ's presence in our lives as it is given to us in the holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, the "source and summit of the Christian life." This fresh look at the Eucharist brings to light its reality as a sacred meal, the sacrifice necessary for communion with God, and the Real Presence of Christ. Bishop Barron clearly explains that the Eucharist is not a symbol, but is truly the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Je-sus Christ. This intimate gift from the Lord brings us into greater unity with the Trinity and offers us a foretaste of heaven to come. Classes will begin on February 20th with times to be determined, and last for five (5) weeks. Please set aside some time to strengthen your faith and understanding of "The Real Presence."
