About Baltimore’s Inner Harbor
What better place to wrap up a conference on nuclear science and technology than at the Maryland Science Center! The Saturday evening social event will feature a rooftop terrace reception with breathtaking views of the Inner Harbor and the Baltimore skyline. Attendees will also have the freedom to explore the Science Center, from dinosaurs, to planets, to a giant mechanical blue crab!
Baltimore’s Inner Harbor has been one of the major seaports in the United States since the 1700s, and since the 1970s, has blossomed into the cultural center of Maryland’s largest city. The Inner Harbor features dozens of attractions, including museums, sports and entertainment venues, restaurants, shopping, and more.
Location Information
Constellation Energy’s corporate headquarters are conveniently located in the heart of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor at 750 East Pratt Street.
Within walking distance to the headquarters building, the Fairfield Inn & Suites is located at 101 South President Street.
The Maryland Science Center is at the other end of the Inner Harbor, and is within easy walking distance of the hotel and Constellation’s headquarters.

Communicating Nu-Clearly
The 2013 conference will feature a focus on communication skills, both in the context of discussing nuclear energy with the general public and in the context of advancing your career, as well as information on some of the latest developments in the nuclear industry. The professional development portion of the conference will be highly interactive, and a great way to meet and work with individuals from across the industry.
The morning sessions will provide some perspectives from industry leaders current advanced reactor designs, as well as a discussion on the implementation of nuclear energy in the developing world and the associated challenges. The afternoon sessions, in keeping with the conference theme, will allow attendees to develop and apply a toolbox of communication skills for a broad range of situations, from talking to your boss, to talking to handling a press conference. This is an event that you won’t want to miss!
