Welcome Our journey began in 2002 with a simple vision: to impact world health and free people from physical and financial pain. Over the last 18 years, we have experienced tremendous growth as a market leader, offering high-quality, effective products and an incredible business opportunity. Today, our goal remains the same, and we’re thrilled to help more than 550,000 customers across 26 markets improve their wellbeing.

To do that, we have broadened our efforts in several ways. We launched a revolutionary, first-of-its-kind Whole Blend line of products with nutrients sourced from organic fruits and vegetables and a proprietary protein complex. We acquired Zija International and expanded our portfolio to include a number of their innovative products. And, we unveiled a new Isagenix 2.0 brand that elevates the customer experience to be more inclusive because we feel that everyone deserves to have a healthy, joyful, and abundant life. Now more than ever, people are turning to our products and the home-based business opportunity to improve their wellbeing both physically and financially.

We’ve always been dedicated to improving the environment and supporting the communities we serve, and we’re so excited to share with you the steps we’ve taken over the last year to have an even more meaningful impact.

Committed to a Healthy PlanetWe continue to look for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and packaging waste by partnering with suppliers that align with our sustainability goals. In addition to our ongoing efforts to transition all products to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, we launched our Whole Blend IsaLean® Shake in recyclable gusset bags this year. We also endeavor to achieve our zero waste goal to convert all packaging components to recyclable, reusable, or compostable materials by 2028.

Inspired To Do MoreTo date, we have proudly donated $15 million to 79 nonprofit organizations, both directly and through our ISA Foundation, with support from generous leaders who share our commitment to giving back. These donations have fulfilled a variety of needs, including providing 5 million healthy meals to children and families around the world.

This year we also expanded our charitable mission. Now, in addition to these three pillars — healthy nutrition and support for underserved children, wellness education for all, and aid for those affected by natural disasters — we added a fourth pillar: the pursuit of racial equality. We are excited about the growing impact of this expanded mission.

We hope this social impact report gives you a more in-depth look into the ways we’re supporting the planet and communities around the world.

With gratitude,

Jim, Kathy, and Erik Coover

PACKAGINGOur goal is zero waste packaging by 2028. No doubt ambitious, but we fully intend to get there. WE’VE ALREADY HIT A FEW MILESTONES:

• In August 2020, we unveiled a recyclable gusset bag for our Whole Blend IsaLean® Shakes that maintains a product’s 12-month shelf life. This innovative new technology will result in 80% less plastic used, or about 5,073 fewer tons of carbon dioxide emissions over the next 12 months.

• Effective as of the second quarter of 2020, we transitioned our IsaFlush® and Natural Accelerator™ bottles to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. The change will save 1.2 million bottles of recyclable virgin plastic from being produced over 12 months. Our goal is to transition all bottles and canisters to be made with PCR plastic by 2023. Most recently, we began production on transitioning Cleanse for Life® and Ionix® Supreme powders.

• All IsaLean Shake and IsaPro® canisters have transitioned to PCR plastic. That means more than half of our products packaged in bottles and canisters are now made with PCR plastic!

• In the first quarter of 2020, we discontinued plastic bottle neckbands for future production on nine products, including Isagenix Joint Support™ and IsaOmega™. This equates to about 2.3 million fewer plastic bottle neckbands per year (that’s 53 miles of plastic!).

• In November 2019, we stopped placing plastic shrink-wrap around our Chocolate Decadence and Lemon Passion Crunch IsaLean Bars and Fiber Snacks™. This means approximately 550,000 fewer boxes will be shrink-wrapped this year.

SHIPPING• In 2020, we stopped using cardboard boxes when moving our shake

canisters from our third-party manufacturers to our distribution centers. Instead, we use cardboard trays, reducing the use of cardboard by 3.2 million square feet over the course of a year.

• We recently resized our cardboard shipping boxes, resulting in a 15% reduction in the air pillows needed to ship within the U.S. and Canada.

• In 2019, we opened our fifth warehouse, located in Reno, Nevada, to ship products to the Pacific Northwest. We expect the location to reduce the number of eco-friendly insulated coolers used for heat-sensitive products by 75,000 during the summer months. The expected reduction of coolers, when stacked on top of each other, is 14.2 miles high! That’s more than two times the height of Mount Everest.

Commitment to Our PlanetAs a trailblazer in the wellbeing space, we’re creating revolutionary ways the industry can reduce its carbon footprint in several key areas:

Page 5: SOCIAL IMPACT - cdn.isagenix.comC3AC0396-7595-423D-A23A-795… · effective products and an incredible business opportunity. Today, our goal remains the same, and we’re thrilled

RESPONSIBLE SOURCINGAs a company, we stand firm in our no-compromise commitment to seeking out suppliers who demonstrate a focus on sustainability.

• We use our influence to encourage our ingredient suppliers to strengthen ethical and sustainable production practices.

• We are dedicated to continuously improving our ingredient sourcing and resource management to reduce our carbon footprint and decrease landfill waste.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTSIn 2020, we launched our Whole Blend IsaLean® Shakes and Whole Blend Bar. These Whole Blend products have 21 vitamins and minerals sourced from a premium blend of organic whole produce and feature an array of nourishing vitamin forms called vitamers.

OUR PLANT-BASED PRODUCTS INCLUDE: • Harvest Thins™, a protein-packed snack

• Plant-Based Whole Blend IsaLean Shake, a nutrient-dense superfood smoothie with 24 grams of high-quality protein sourced responsibly from fava beans, mung beans, and peas

• IsaPro® Plant-Based Protein, which offers vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians an alternative to whey-based IsaPro so they can have the benefits of an Isagenix protein concentrate

WORLD HEADQUARTERSOur world headquarters building is LEED-certified for its exterior. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability.

• Since their installation in 2019, our three electric vehicle charging stations have helped 12 drivers with electric vehicles avoid 12,472 kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions, which is equivalent to planting 320 trees and letting them grow for 10 years.

• Our photovoltaic solar panels installed on the parking lot shade structures in 2018 provide approximately 463,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy annually, powering nearly one-fourth of the building.

Isagenix Customers can purchase products such as BĒA™ Sparkling Energy Drink, along with Kathy Coover’s new book, “Resilient: Lessons Learned, Lives Changed,” and know that a portion of the proceeds will go to the ISA Foundation.

An annual Global Give Back Day brings hundreds of people together to inspire the gift of giving through volunteerism with dozens of nonprofit organizations around the world.
