What is «social impact»?

“A significant, positive change that addresses a pressing social challenge.”

“…Although possibly taken for granted as an assumption, the change we seek must improve the conditions around the current situation. So the effect from social impact must be a positive change to the challenge…”

What is «cross-domain innovation»?

“Cross-domain innovation” derives from “cross-industry innovation” (Vullings & Heleven 2015) and is a smart way to jump-start innovation efforts by drawing analogies and transferring approaches between domains, beyond the borders of one single domain. These analogies can be drawn at various levels, from products to services, to processes, to strategies, to business models, to culture and leadership.Source: http://www.crossindustryinnovation.com/15-examples/
