• Facebook’s origin – new way for college students to share
information .
• Clubs and organizations are original location of social networking.
• Current Web 2.0 technology instituting change in higher education at arate faster than any in recent history.
• Issue: Determining what is freedom of speech and what is notcivil, there are currently few rules for basic etiquette.
