Social Media Specs & Guidelines

• Include all hashtags and URLs in your character limit.

• All posts need to include #sponsored or #spon. ReedPOP will automatically add this to your submission, but please keep in mind regarding character limit and appearance.

• Failure to follow the specs for each channel may affect the ability for your message to be deployed. ReedPOP reserves the right to add the official show hashtag or other content to your submission.

• If you require final approval of the submitted content, please let ReedPOP know at the time of submission.

• You may request an exact date and time for deployment (subject to availability). Otherwise, ReedPOP will deploy at a recommended time during the date range you purchased.

Social Media Do’s & Don’ts

Sponsorship Case Study

• Make content relevant to our fans Keep in mind demographics and who our audience is

• Ask questions Include calls to action to boost engagement from fans

• Get creative! Spin your post to feel less like an ad and more like content that fans will want to engage with

• Don’t use too much copy More images, less text

• Don’t be redundant Don’t submit the same content across all platforms & don’t submit the same message to run more than twice on the same platform

• Don’t make posts look like ads Our fans don’t like being marketed to and would rather see engaging content

DO DON’T

The Objective:• Winsor & Newton wanted to highlight their line of premium markers in a preshow Social Media

Sponsorship.

The Approach• ReedPOP worked with New York based Comic Artist Khary Randolph to get involved. ReedPOP sent

Khary a new set of donated Winsor & Newton markers to use in an original drawing. The Winsor & Newton markers were used and featured in the picture of Khary’s NYCC Countdown drawing and the post linked to Winsor & Newton’s Facebook page.

The Results:• Accrued over 260 likes and 56

shares of the post

• Noted as one of the most engaged NYCC Countdown posts of 2015

Why it Worked:• The Sponsorship featured the

Winsor & Newton brand and products in an innovative way. Fans engaged with the visual element and the branded approach was adjacent to the featured art, making it relevant to our fans.
