THE PAJAMA GAME
@ Marshwood High School
Friday evening, April 7th
After their impressive performance of Footloose last spring,
we’re heading back to Marshwood High School for what
promises to be another great production by this talented
high school theatre group. The Pajama Game is a Tony
Award winning musical based on the novel, Seven 1/2
Cents by Richard Bissell. It first appeared on Broadway in
1954, however, it’s been revived twice since then and won a
Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 2006. The
story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory where
workers’ demands for a seven and a half cent raise are going
unheeded. In the midst of the ordeal, love blossoms be-
tween two characters that are on opposite sides of the labor
dispute. Knowing the expertise of the Marshwood Drama
Dept. this popular high school play is sure to entertain us.
Our supper stop before the show will be at Alexander’s in
