The Endocrinologist Editorial Board

The Endocrinologist is the Society’s official quarterly magazine, covering Society news and topical issues in endocrinology. We’re looking for new Editorial Board members from the Society membership to join The Endocrinologist team, starting in January 2017. We want to hear from basic scientists, clinicians and nurses at all career stages who have a passion for communicating endocrinology and want to work with us to ensure The Endocrinologist continues to develop to be the premier magazine for endocrinologists. The term of office is two years and you will be expected to attend two meetings per year, with additional work carried out via email. All Board members must be current members of the Society for Endocrinology.

The Board’s role is to oversee the development and publication of The Endocrinologist. In particular, the following tasks:

1. To ensure the publication is in line with the Society’s vision and values (engage, support, advance)2. To ensure the Society’s activities are suitably represented and covered in each edition3. To ensure the content of publication represents the interests of Society members across the breadth of

endocrinology4. To develop ideas for future content and suggest potential authors. 5. To ensure that the views of the membership are adequately reflected on important matters6. To contribute towards writing articles as required7. Other tasks as they occur
