Established in 2007 with an objective of bringing about inclusive development, SCHOOL works with the civil society, grass root organizations, academic institutions, businesses and governments to transform ideas into solutions through a systemic approach.Along with a capable and expert team of professionals and volunteers SCHOOL builds on decades of field experiences, to ensure better

ways of addressing various development challenges. SCHOOL puts together the expertise, and lessons learned into frameworks that guide varied projects in planning, designing, implementing, monitoring and measuring results. In doing so, SCHOOL attempts to partner with and assist organizations in implementing initiatives that focus on: strategic solutions to real-world problems; new ideas and innovative approaches; and cost-effectiveness and sustainability.Collectively, the team has managed mammoth and large scale implementation projects across India and South Asia in different capacities and roles as planners, managers, executors and monitoring and evaluation experts.

Why does Teen Coalition exist?Adolescence (10–19 years) is a unique and formative time. Whilst most

adolescents have good mental health, multiple physical, emotional and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to various challenges. mental health problems. Promoting psychological well-being and protecting adolescents from adverse experiences and risk factors which may impact their potential to thrive are not only critical for their well-being during adolescence, but also for their physical and mental health in adulthood.

Improving the health conditions and reducing disability among older people demands a commitment and

shared responsibility. An important impediment to the implementation of programmes for healthy ageing has been the lack of orientation among programme providers to age-related problems and interventions as well as a lack of awareness around their significance.SCHOOL works towards creation of an enabling environment for the formulation of appropriate policies and programs to ensure healthy ageing in India.

TEEN COALITION HEALTHY AGEING

SCHOOL recognizes that there are different approaches, visions, models and tools available to achieve sustainable development globally, nationally and locally. These are in accordance with both, the circumstances and priorities. While, the challenges of the day call for integrated solutions; in order to address these

effectively, a cross-thematic approach that brings in inputs from varied thematic areas has become essential. SCHOOL, continues to build its efforts and upholds the reality that in order to impact health, a robust and threefold vigour of education, empowerment and equality is required.
