The Marco Zunino wine estate is the result of the meeting of 2 French

men in Argentina. Marc Zunino and Ronan Guevel met in Buenos Aires in

2009 and their passion for wine and complimentary vision and skills were

at the origin of their decision to buy vineyards and build a winery in San

Rafael, in the province of Mendoza.

The team was then enriched with the arrival of Yann-Gael Falc’hun in

2012 and Svetlana Labourdette-Kashtanova in 2015.

Is a talented businessman originally from Monaco. Marc is a truly passionate entrepreneur bringing a wealth

of experience of creating, developing and running businesses in the automobile and fashion industries.

RONAN GUEVEL _ Sales and Marketing

Born and raised in Brittany, with over 10 years experience as commercial director of a drinks

distribution business, Ronan has already launched 2 drinks: “Mutine” a range of Breton beers and a range

of les Coteaux des Abers wines.

Also native of Brittany, he has worked for some of the most reknown hospitality groups such as Barriere,

Relais et Chateaux and Leading Hotels of the world where he was awarded the prestigious “Clefs d’Or”.

SVETLANA LABOURDETTE-KASHTANOVA _ Sales development

Svetlana has Russian origins, leader of Communications strategy as a Public Relations Manager for an international

Maïsadour Group subsidiary, she contributes to its European development.

THE VINEYARD AT THE FOOTHILL OF THE ANDES _

200 kilometers from the district capital, in the South of the region of

Mendoza, lies the town of San Rafael, an oasis surrounded by large canyons

and crossed by two rivers, Diamante and Atuel, vital for agriculture and

tourism in the region.

The arid climate, the rugged landscape and vegetation, as well as the plane

trees along the country roads and weeping willows bordering its rivers are

reminiscent of the midi region in the South of France.

The thirty-hectare vineyard boasts an exceptional site and an idyllic regional

climate for wine producing. The low rainfall (300 mm per year), the altitude

(670m) and high temperature variations associated with the diversity and

quality of San Rafael’s terroir offer the ideal setting for a truly exceptional

quality of grape.

The wine industry is one of the remaining legacies of the presence of a

French colony in the region. Major wineries have since developed in the area

(Bianchi, Jean Rivier, and more recently Goyenechea, Algodon Wine Estates)

and finally Bodega Marco ZUNINO.

THE WINERY _

Marco Zunino : : a new and modern winery in the region of San Rafael –

Mendoza.We aim to pure wines with minimalist intervention to best express

this exceptional Argentinian terroir.

The winery is based in the south of the province of Mendoza, 30 km from the

center of San Rafael. The 25,000 square foot Bodega Marco Zunino was built

on the most beautiful natural resources in the region to provide a modern

and innovative design.

EQUIPMENT _

The production capacity of 500,000 liters is divided into

25 cement and stainless steel tanks.

We use the latest generation of high-performance production tools

from the very best European manufacturers.

From the moment the carefully selected grapes arrive through the

cellar doors, right through to the fermentation, we take great care in

handling our raw materials, to allow the vines and local soil to express

themselves to their full potential.

THE RANGE “MARCO ZUNINO “ _

Young, intense, fruit driven wines, built around a real backbone

structure and showing the best of the terroir of San Rafael.

The use of sulfites is kept to the strictest possible minimum.

(-70 mg / liter).

A range of expressive red wines with a strong personality, an original

and creative design, with a modern and feminine touch.

In line with our expressive red wines, our Chardonnay is pure and

mineral, with a great acidity offering a great backbone to its distin-

guished fruit.

Our rosé de pressée is one of a kind in Argentina dry and delicately

fruity, making it a real culinary rosé as well as a pleasure one.

MALBEC _ Emblematic Argentine Passion

This emblematic Malbec is the result of joint efforts between man and nature. Elaborated with carefully selected vines from the best vineyards in the district of “Cuadro Benegas”, southwest of San Rafael, Mendoza.

Deep, intense ruby red and purple hue. Like a diamond in the night!

Marked presence of the fruit aromas in the attack with a good structure and nicely preserved tannins give this wine a long and succulent finish. Fresh taste of plum and blackberry. Notes of moka and coffee.

This Malbec 100% hails from a combination of soil type, climate and pure varietal with an intense freshness that stays in one’s memory. The wine has been aged 6 months in french oak barrels and cherry wood barrels from the north of Argentine.ALC 14.2% by VOL

MALBEC BONARDA _ Aromatic brilliant ruby-redThis Malbec-Bonarda (60% - 40%) is made from a selection of the best vines coming from Cuadro Benegas in the southwest of San Rafael, Province of Mendoza. More precisely, in “Cuesta de los Terneros”, located at an elevation of 3000 feet above sea level.

A wine with peculiar characteristics. Its saturated red color with violet tones makes it extremely attractive. It offers a bouquet of fresh red fruits such as raspberries, strawberries and blackcurrant.

The attack is round on the palate with balanced acidity and well-structured tannins. This blend is a pleasant wine with a persistent fruity finish.

Deep and intense red color. Its personal dark tones comes from the purity of the grape and his aging in oak barrel.

Presence of mature red fruit taste with vanilla and caramel.

Strong personality: it combines the natural quality of the grape from Mendozawith French elegance.

CHARDONNAY _ Unforgettable Exotic Experience

This 100% Chardonnay is the result of a very special selection of grapes produced in vineyards located in the southwest of San Rafael, Mendoza.

This wine is characterized by an intense yellow color tinged with green.

It gives a clear expression of its grape variety on the nose as well as on the palate. It has a fruity character with citrus exotic aromas. In addition, the wine denotes very subtle essences of tropical fruits such as banana and pineapple

Pure Expression of soil type, climate and varietal with an intense freshness that stays in one’s memory. It is a young wine of the new world!

An exotic flavor, fruity and well balanced, obtained by a fermentation at low temperature for 30 days.

ROSE_ New Aromatic World

This particular Rosé has been obtained challenging the emblematic Bonarda, a varietal widely spread across our region. Its delicate and attractive color, characterizes the type of young wine Mediterranean French style.

On the palate, this Rosé leaves a fresh and pleasant flavor. It is well balanced and gives a clear expression of fruity and floral aromas. It visibly reflects notes of strawberry, raspberry and white peach.

Pure Expression of the grape variety, the terroir and an intense freshness that remains in one’s memory, this is a very original and modern wine!

Direct pressing of the grapes with cold maceration during 9 hours, fermented for 30 days at an average temperature of 12 Celsius degrees.

This is the first vintage from a brand new winery in San Rafael, Mendoza.

We took great care to achieve this range with beautiful packaging, a tall and

elegant bottle, a modern and feminine label with silkscreen print, and a

natural cork with the new DIAM method.

The wines offer an excellent price-quality ratio and are already sold in Eu-

rope (Belgium, France and Switzerland), Mexico, Honduras, Canada,

USA and China.

In Argentina our wines are distributed in the most exclusive wineries and

restaurants of the Capital.

EDGARDO IBARRA _ Wine maker

Edgardo Ibarra has a well-known reputation in the region of Cuyo with 30 years of experience in the wine industry.

Graduated from Don Bosco University in Mendoza, he used to work for different wineries such as Mumm Estate Bodegas

Pernot-Ricard before becoming Wine Maker for selected clients.

President during 5 years of the San Rafael Wine Maker Center, he is also a member of the San Rafael AOC

(Protected Designation of Origin) tasting committee.

Furthermore, he has spent time in French vineyards perfecting his knowledge and skills in the vinification processes.



THE BEST OF NEW WORLD CLIMATE WITH FRENCH KNOW HOW!

The Argentine Terroir offers incomparable quality of grapes. The climate, the

diversity of soils and natural water resources allow each wine to obtain the

purest of its varietal expression. Thanks to our latest generation

equipment, we make a double selection of the grape and whole grains

are put into tanks for a carbonic fermentation. We are looking for the purest

extraction of product and we also do a pre-cold maceration (10 ° C), then

a 12 days fermentation at a controlled temperature of 22 °C.

The malolactic fermentation is spontaneous and partial, and we deliberately

keep a few grams of malic acid for freshness on the palate.
