SPONSORSHIP
PROPOSAL
Formula SAE is an international collegiate design competition focused on
the design, manufacturing, and testing of a small formula-style open-wheel
race car.
Over 250 teams from around the world compete in at least one of
the eight competitions which are held in the United States, the
United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Australia, and Japan. FSAE
India (SUPRA SAE INDIA 2012 , www.suprasaeindia.org) was held for
the first time in September 2012.
Media coverage
Expressing their knowledge creativity and imagination, the students design
a car taking into the safety constraints from the rule book.
The cars are judged for their handling, performance, manufactur-ability,
serviceability, design, cost, and endurance. Judges evaluate the team's
innovative ideas and also the reasoning and theory behind the design.
The team with the highest cumulative score is declared the winner. Beside
the honors of competing in a world-class event, the team members also
take away a valuable experience of a meaningful engineering project which
requires exceptional dedication and teamwork.

Supra SAEINDIA was held for the first time in the country at the covetedBuddh International Circuit, Noida, New Delhi.
110 Engineering colleges from all over the nation, took part in thiscompetition.
Team Vamos Autocross, with its excellent performance and appealingaesthetics, won the praise of all the judges and renowned automotivepersonnel.
They came Third Overall, and First amongst 13 colleges from Pune.
