[Space Fantasy] The inspiration for this amazing collection came from a poem, written by the children of the Solamigos team:

[New concept]Solamigos brings a new concept to the market – the combination of UV protection, water resistance, multifunctionality and high-end design. Solamigos’ garments are made of excellent quality – the fabrics are designed for extreme sports, tested and marked in accord-ance with the eco-friendly Oeko-Tex® and the Australian Standard for Sun protective clothing, AS/NZS 4399:1996. Swedish design, exclusively made in EU.

Most of Solamigos’ garments are designed to be UNISEX, easy to mix and match. Sizes from 0-12 years of age.

[Space Fantasy]Solamigos new collection is perfect for casual wear or when swimming, surfing, sailing, bi-cycling, skateboarding, riding, dancing, trek-king/running, playing etc. You will love the vivid colors, rich print and matte finish, but more importantly the sun- and water resistant qualities of the garments. Excellent shape and colour retention wash after wash, it allows fast moisture absorption and dries in a flash. The superior breathability makes the Solamigos’ garments comfortable to wear even in the hottest weather. Being safe in the sun never looked so good.

Solamigos was born out of the desire to have every child safe in the sun. “By protecting your children from the sun, you can prevent health problems in the future” - that’s Solamigos’ motto. It took years of research and develop-ment to find the right collaborators to make high-quality, sustainable, ecological garments, solely produced in Europe.

Thanks to Solamigos’ multifunctional designs and fabric features, one garment has many different uses. Children are wearing Solamigos for casual wear and when; swimming, surfing, sailing, bicycling, skateboarding, riding, danc-ing trekking/running, playing etc.

Louise L, the Swedish designer’s career took off when she was rewarded by Her Majesty the Queen of Sweden for winning a national drawing competition at 12 years of age. Her education in Graphic and Textile design led to a successful career as an awarded Art Director in the Advertising sector, in Sweden and abroad.

Originally based on the cosmopolitan Greek island of Mykonos, Solamigos was created 2004 together with her theatrical actor hus-band and their two children as an ambitious family project to “shoot for the moon”. The first collection was launched in spring 2011.

One-and-a-half year and a second collection later, they have not reached the moon - yet - but in record time Solamigos has gained representatives in fifteen countries and on four different continents! Today Solamigos’ headquarter is on the Mediterranean island Mallorca, with distributors worldwide.

Most of Solamigos’ garments are designed to be Unisex - suitable for both genders. They are easy to mix and match. Sizes are available from 0-12 years of age.

[Multifunctional & Ecological] Solamigos’ garments are mulifunctional - thanks to the quality, design and fabric features - one garment has many differ-ent uses. Solamigos’ fabrics are made of excellent quality - designed for extreme sports, tested and certified by Oeko-Tex®,ensur-ing a human- and environment friendly production. Except from sun- and water resistance they have maximum breathability and stretchability. Excellent shape and color retention wash after wash. They allow fast moisture absorption and are quick drying.

[UV protection]Solamigos’ fabrics provide excellent UV pro-tection, UPF 50+ and are tested according to the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4399:1999 Sun Protective Clothing.

During the long development process - from making the fabric to the ready sewed garment - many tests and quality controls are carried out, to meet the requirements of strength and durability of the final product.

Solamigos’ garments are available from size 74/80-146/152. Baby styles are available from 50/56-86/92.

Solamigos’ uses “double sizes” in accordance with the European standard. The easiest way to find the right size is to measure your child from top to toe to find out the length. Then you choose the corresponding size in the chart be-low.

The fabrics are very stretchable. We recom-mend you to choose your child’s existing size, not bigger.
