CERTIFIED D65 DAYLIGHT

SOLENO complies with the illuminant D65 according to both British standard BS950-1 and the more recent international standard ISO 23603, defined by the International Commission of Illumination. The SOLENO daylight ceiling light is therefore certified to be compliant with 3 criteria which you must pay attention to, when judging the quality of a D65 daylight light fixture: chromaticity spectral distribution metamerism

This D65 certification awarded to the SOLENO ceiling light by an independent, accredited French laboratory guarantees standard daylight lighting which is reproducible in any use environment.

The LED lights of the SOLENO ceiling light were put through a process of careful selection in order to reproduce true daylight, including all the colours of the light spectrum from 400 to 700 nm, with an excellent colour rendering value (Ra) of 98% and a colour fidelity value* (Rf) of 96%.

CAREFULLY SELECTED,SAFE LEDs

* The Rf index is a new method of calculating colour rendering that was published by the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America). The Rf concerns 99 colours, which makes it more precise in evaluating daylight lighting quality than the Ra colour rendering index used up until now (which concerns 8 colours).

SOLENO received D65 certification for all the criteria of the current standards, which ensures, among other things, that the spectral reflectance curve will not have a blue peak, and thus will not carry the risk of eye toxicity.Since it does not have this blue peak, SOLENO also guarantees the absence of accelerated polymerisation of certain materials, a phenomenon that is sometimes encountered with LED light fixtures.

SOLENO facilitates the work of aesthetic dentistry thanks to its double illuminant (6500°K Daylight / 3000°K warm white light).It’s easy to switch between illuminants with the 4-button remote control that can be used both as a wall transmitter and as a portable remote control.
