We are now looking for 15 library and information science students to be members of our editorial board If you have an active interest in current LIS issues and are willing to share your knowledge and opinions we hope you will apply Members will be asked to review submitted papers in their area of interest and occasionally to do research in

order to review pa pers outside of their expertise The board will also meet via an online discussion board to discuss

Summer Internship Opportunity at Georgia Archives middot

Purpose To process approximately 40 cubic feet of Georgia Black Legislative Caucus Records for access by the public

Duties Physical processing of the records physical and intellectual arrangement of the records preparing an inventory of the records works closely with archives staff and project supervisor and promptly reports problems and concerns about the project

Required Skills amp Abilities Coursework on archival theory and practice attention to detail and accuracy excellent oral and written communication skills ability to take instruction and follow directions proficiency with MS Word and Access ability to lift 30 Ibs

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge amp interest in modern Georgia history amp politics college seniors amp graduate assistants preferred

Rate amp Time $900 per hour20 hours per week for 10 weeks Starting date may be negotiated
