With a pro-active customer focused culture at our core, UTEX Industries excels in recommending and providing solutions to complex and challenging application conditions; to succeed in this endeavour, we continue to push the boundaries of both sealing technology and engineering application.

Our Materials group based in Houston, provide R&D including, new material formulations, on-site material compounding and failure analysis. In addition, further support is available for application specific guidance on material selection and chemical compatibility. Our Corporate Engineering team strategy is a global one with Design, Application & Process Engineers in all UTEX manufacturing locations and also our headquarters in Houston. As well as supporting customers face to face, our engineering team provide FEA, product testing and qualification services and industrialisation of new products and technologies.

Mass TransitUTEX UK have established an excellent reputation in the Railway Industry. Safety critical components are amongst the wide range of differing seals that are supplied. Materials have to be vigorously tested to the extreme to ensure they will live up to the expectation of either the rolling freight stock or passenger cars. Brake diaphragms and buffer seals both in single or multiple materials including fabric reinforcement can be supplied. Metal to rubber bonding’s and plastic elastomers to metal bonding’s are supplied for anti-vibration systems.
