Our extensive technological expertise and broad range of chemicals allow the design of lubricants and metal working fluids . Additionally, Finished Lubes ensure first-class results in terms of gear wear and seal life, beside others and are ready to use fluids and providing key OEM approvals. We help our customer meet the specific trend in designing lubricants and metal working fluids by offering a versatile portfolio of chemical intermediates to match the market needs for the different end-use application i.e. gear oils, compressor oils, hydraulic fluids, heat-transfer liquids, anti-friction coating and many others. Furthermore automotive fluids, defined as coolants and brake fluids for the automotive industry are offered. Engine coolants are mandatory for a long life time of the motor. Especially with the raising interest of e-mobility (e-cars or hybrid-cars) cooling is even more important. Close partner-ship with leading motor vehicle manufacturers and brake system suppliers has lead to brake fluids which are officially approved by many OEMs.

Additive Packages for Ashless Lubricants

Ready-to-use mixtures for every purpose. The right lubricant plays a key role in optimizing the effi ciency of industrial plants and extending maintenance intervalls, as it allows moving parts to run smoothly without wear. Our broad range of additive packages fulfi ls or even exceeds the important international industrial and OEM specifi cations. The mixtures can be used with the basestock.

Effects / Solutions Chemistry Brand

Turbine Packages Additive blend Irgapac®

Hydraulic Fluid Packages Additive blend Irgapac®

Rust / Oxidation Additive blend Irgapac®

Gear Packages Additive blend Irgapac®

Multifunctional Additive Package

Additive blend Irgapac®

Key Performance Benefits

One considerable advantage of all additive mixtures is that they are free from ash. That lowers the risk of deposits, which are a main cause of mechanical wear. The additive packages contain powerful antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors and metal deactivators for the formulation of lubricants. In addition specifi c approvals are available. Thus they are ready-to-use.

Base Stocks

Lubricant Formulation

Synthetic lubricant base stocks for lubricants are also widely used in various applications because of their characteristics and exceptional performance also in terms of biodegradability and favorable human and environmental toxicity.

Effects / Solutions Chemistry Brand

Base Stocks Complex / Polyol esters (saturated and unsaturated), Methyl esters, Mono esters, Diesters

Finished Lubricants

Finished Lubricants ensure fi rst-class results in terms of gear wear, seal life, fl uid oxidation and oil life. These synthetic lubri-cants also help to improve energy effi ciency, which reduces fuel consumption and decrease CO2 emissions. With their renewable content, they fall into today's class of more carbon-neutral, sustainable technologies.

Anti-Friction-Coating (solid / dry lubricant)

Solid lubricants fi ll a special niche in situations where the use of liquid lubricants is impractical to reduce wear. They are composed of a solid lubricant, a binder and additives which forms a thin fi lm and reduces friction and wear of contacting surfaces in relative motion.
