- Stratigraphic and tectonic evolution;

- Depositional integrated model and evolutionary history;

- Role of the depositional evolution on the petroleumsystem.

Evolution Model

TIME 6:Continuing deposition in the half-graben during the LowTectonic Activity System Tract. Shallow-wateraccumulation of bivalve banks and stevensite ooids in the flexural margin. Erosion of older units in the flexuralmargin. Continuous erosion of the uplifted footwall alongthe border fault, and deposition of the border-faultdeposits. Re-sedimented deposits in the troughs.

Upper Cretaceous turbidite complexes

of Campos Basin are extremely

immature, although deposited within

the Upper Cretaceous 2nd order

transgressive system (Fetter et al.

2009).

Serra do Mar uplift events were the

triggers of high-supply discharges

during a transgressive interval, creating

immature and retrograding turbidite

complexes.
