Dear Parents,Congratulations to the Roberts family

and their wonderful team of helpers forcoordinating another “SPOOK-tacular” Trunk orTreat and Movie Night event. It was very wellorganized and much fun was had by studentsand adults alike! Thank you for all your timeand effort—we can’t wait until next year.

This Friday, while the students areenjoying a day off, our teachers will beparticipating in Diocesan-wide professionallearning opportunity focusing on curriculummapping. We’ll be utilizing experts from withinthe Diocese, as well as outside consultants tolearn research -based instructional strategiesand make explicit connections between andamong California Common Core Standards andunit design. This is a great opportunity for ourteachers and appreciate the partnership withthe Diocese.

On Monday, our visiting French studentswill be on Campus. Please welcome Paul, Laure,Vianney and Alienor, who will be with usthrough December. We thank the NDA hostfamilies, the Lary’s, Daley’s, Roberts’ andNewsome’s, for opening their homes and heartsto these students. Merci Beacoup!

For Middle School conferences: Parents will be able to sign up for a

15 minute appointment with any, orall of the Middle School Teachers.

A Sign-Up Genius l ink for eachconference day will be emailed inthe morning on Thursday, 10/26.

The sign-up l inks will be open fromnoon on 10/26 through 5pm on 11/3.

Unfor-tunately we couldn’t make up the 12-6 hal ime deficit. The final score was 25-6. Our touchdown wasmade by Hudson Wells from a pass by Ian Lamkin. A special recognition to Lucas Cariquitan on his nicecatch and Inigo Gonzalez with his touchdown saving defensive play in the end zone. A big thank you toall the parents and supporters who came out to cheer for the team. The boys gave it their besteffort. Our next game next Monday against St. John’s 5/6 on Monday.10/23 vs. St. John’s @ St. John’s 3:30pm

CROSS COUNTRY TRACK MEETLast Saturday we had several runners participate in the San Diego Catholic Schools Cross Country Meetat Cathedral Catholic. It was a super event and our student athletes put together some greatperformances. Thank you to all the parents who brought your kids out to run!
