ANIMAL JUNGLE
There are lions and tigers Cheeky chimpanzees In the animal jungle
Who's that there?
It's a big brown bear In the animal jungle
Watch were you tread
Don't you make a sound Whatever you do Don't turn around
Don't sit there That's a termite mound!
In the animal jungle, animal jungle

STNCD01 TRACK 3 / 22 IF YOU MEET A TIGER
If you meet a tiger on your daily stroll
Simply smile and say, "Well bless my soul You're the first big cat I've seen today"
And quickly creep away
If you meet a lion on your daily walk Simply smile and say, "I've time to talk, You're the first big cat I've seen today"
And quickly creep away
You see all big cats are jealous Of each others territory Don't let on, move along
Avoiding injury
If you meet a tiger on your daily stroll Simply smile and say, "Well bless my soul
You're the first big cat I've seen today" And quickly creep away
If you meet a lion on your daily walk
Simply smile and say, "I've time to talk You're the first big cat I've seen today"
And quickly creep away Better not delay
Or you'll end up as prey!

FIVE LITTLE SPECKLED FROGS
Five little speckled frogs Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grub, yum yum One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool Now there are four more speckled frogs, glub glub
Four little speckled frogs
Sat on a speckled log Eating some most delicious grub, yum yum
One jumped into the pool Where it was nice and cool
Now there are three more speckled frogs, glub glub
Three little speckled frogs Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grub, yum yum One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool Now there are two more speckled frogs, glub glub
Two little speckled frogs Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grub, yum yum One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool Now there is one more speckled frog, glub glub
One little speckled frog Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grub, yum yum One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool Now there are no more speckled frogs

CHEEKY CHIMPANZEES
Swinging from tree to tree to tree Those cheeky chimpanzees
Chasing each other so playfully Those cheeky chimpanzees
They're hooting, scooting Right up to the top
They're messing about til time for bed For then they have to stop
Chewing bananas one two three
Those cheeky chimpanzees Grooming each other so carefully
Those cheeky chimpanzees They tumble, stumble Jump and roll and flop
They're messing about til time for bed For then they have to stop
Making a racket, a rumpus, a row
Those cheeky chimpanzees Tagging along from bough to bough
Those cheeky chimpanzees They're rolling, strolling
Bounce and swing and hop They're messing about til time for bed
For then they have to stop
It's nearly time to go to sleep For cheeky chimpanzees
Into bed, they're ready to creep Those cheeky chimpanzees They're dreaming scheming
For a brand new day Night night sleep tight
Til morning light Cos then its time to play!

ONE BABY ZEBRA
One baby zebra was born on the plain He tried to get up but he fell
One baby zebra was so very tired He went to sleep for a spell
One baby zebra woke up with a start
He tried to get up from the floor First one leg and another leg and push very hard
But he fell to the ground once more
One baby zebra was getting quite cross He wanted to play with his chum
One baby zebra was having no fun Lying around on his tum
So one baby zebra for the very last time
Struggled right down to his bones First front legs then back legs and push very hard
At last he could stand on his own

RHINO RHINO
There's nothing so calm as a rhinoceros You leave him alone, he's not dangerous He's quietly munching some lovely grass
And bothering no-one There's nothing so cool as a rhinoceros
You leave him alone, he's not looking at us He's chewing a leaf that he tore off a bush
And now it's all gone
Rhino, rhino, we're very sorry please We thought you were angry, bad-tempered and cross, we didn't mean to tease
Rhino, rhino, you must think we are mean You're the kindest, the nicest, the friendliest beast, the jungle's ever seen
There's nothing so meek as a rhinoceros
He doesn't like noise or making a fuss He's rolling around in a big pit of mud
That guards him from sun There's nothing so mild as a rhinoceros
His body is strong, he is enormous He's pushing a log with the horn on his head
And that looks like fun
Rhino, rhino, we're very sorry please We thought you were angry, bad-tempered and cross, we didn't mean to tease
Rhino, rhino, you must think we are mean You're the kindest, the nicest, the friendliest beast, the jungle's ever seen
Rhino, rhino, we're very sorry please
We thought you were angry, bad-tempered and cross, we didn't mean to tease Rhino, rhino, you must think we are mean
You're the kindest, the nicest, the friendliest beast, the jungle's ever seen
You're the kindest, the nicest, the friendliest beast, the jungle's ever seen

5 LITTLE MONKEYS
5 little monkeys bouncing on the bed One fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said No more monkey business bouncing on the bed
4 little monkeys bouncing on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head Mama called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkey business bouncing on the bed
3 little monkeys bouncing on the bed One fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said No more monkey business bouncing on the bed
2 little monkeys bouncing on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head Mama called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkey business bouncing on the bed
1 little monkey bouncing on the bed He fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said No more monkey business bouncing on the bed
No little monkeys bouncing on the bed
They're all bouncing on the sofa instead

THE TERMITE AND THE SNAKE
One hot and steamy afternoon, a jungle termite sang a tune But he was bored, his friends ignored, the lovely melody
Then from a branch a snake awoke, he yawned a little then he spoke
"What lovely song, I'll find the one, who sings so beautifully"
(Termites chorus) "Dance with me, round and round, sing a little song by a termite mound
Can't catch me, I won't be found" (whistle)
The snake looked here, the snake looked there Under stones, and everywhere
The little mite, was not in sight, across the jungle floor
"Please show yourself,” asked Mr Snake "Your song has made me wide awake, so well disguised, from prying eyes"
The termite sang again....
"Dance with me, round and round, sing a little song by a termite mound Can't catch me, I won't be found" (whistle)
By now the snake was getting cross, he curled up on a patch of moss
The termite's song, went on too long, and lost its charm somehow
For one last time, the snake implored "Please show yourself, I must reward, this lovely voice
Who, still by choice, is hiding from me now!"
"Dance with me, round and round, sing a little song by a termite mound Can't catch me, I won't be found" (whistle)
"Dance with me, round and round, sing a little song by a termite mound
Can't catch me, I won't be... (chomping sounds)
"Delicious"

PRISCILLA THE MIGHTY GORILLA
Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla The queen of the ape family
Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla She's bigger than you and me
No lion or tiger can scare She's so very safe right up there
Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla We salute you, your majesty
Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla
The queen of the ape family Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla
She's bigger than you and me No lion or tiger can scare
She's so very safe right up there Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla
We salute you, your majesty
Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up, you chimpanzees By the left, by the right, by the left, you monkeys Gibbons and baboons eyes right, if you please
For the march of the primates, our parade must be straight
No lion or tiger can scare She's so very safe right up there
Priscilla, Priscilla the mighty gorilla We salute you, your majesty

THE BEAR WENT OVER THE MOUNTAIN
The bear went over the mountain The bear went over the mountain The bear went over the mountain
To see what he could see! To see what he could see! To see what he could see!
But the other side of the mountain The other side of the mountain The other side of the mountain
Was all that he could see!

ANIMAL FAIR
I went to the Animal Fair The birds and the beasts were there
The big baboon by the light of the moon Was combing his auburn hair
You should have seen the monk He sat on the elephant's trunk
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees And that was the end of the monk, the monk
Said a flea to a fly in a flue
Said the flea, Oh what shall we do? Said the fly, let us flee; said the flea, let us fly
So they flew through a flaw in the flue
I went to the Animal Fair The birds and the beasts were there
The big baboon by the light of the moon Was combing his auburn hair
You should have seen the monk He sat on the elephant's trunk
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees And that was the end of the monk, the monk
