30x Optical Zoom Plus 60x Clear Image Digital Zoom The 30x optical zoom provided by this Sony G lens, brings with it a 35mm focal range equivalency of 24-720mm which should cover all of your shooting situations from true wide-angle to ultra telephoto. Its minimum focus distance is 2.0" at the wide-angle end and its maximum aperture is f/3.5. In addition, it provides Clear Image Digital Zoom which doubles the zoom to 60x.

Full HD 1080/60p Video Capture Record movies at the highest resolution available with capabilities for 60p in 1080 AVCHD format. 1080p at 60 fps can capture fast action with less distortion in playback. A dedicated video record button starts shooting immediately and with dual record of stills and movies, you can shoot both photos and videos at the same time.

Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS The HX50V has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, utilizing Sony's PlayMemories Mobile App, available for both Android and iOS, to wirelessly transfer photos and videos to a connected smartphone or tablet. The application also allows your device to be used as wireless remote to control the camera. In addition, the GPS function allows you to easily mark the location where your photos were taken.
