Encouraged participants (youth members of the Children Aid Society) to realize their individual artistic strengths and potentials. Developed mural designs developed from youth designs.

Lead Artist/ Groundswell 2010-Current *Instructed art workshops for teenage participants. *Encouraged participants to realize their individual artistic strengths and potentials. *Collaborated with teen participants and chef Jacques Pepin to develop a mural for the International Culinary

Center. *Collaborated with teen participants to design and create a fifteen-foot mosaic mural to promote the Brooklyn

Public Library’s Sunset Park branch. * Collaborated with teen participants to design, paint, and install a mural on parachute cloth for the Lutheran

Medical Center. *Collaborated with various community partners to develop designs for each project. Lead Muralist/ Peoples’ Justice 2013 *Collaborated with staff and members of Picture the Homeless and Peoples’ Justice to develop a large scale mural on the theme “Know Your Rights” *Instructed art workshops and brainstorming sessions with individuals from both organizations. *Organized and led “Community Painting Day” with over 81 volunteers. *Developed strategy to use mural as educational tool postproduction. Lead Muralist/ Bailey’s Cafe 2013 *Collaborated with faculty of Paul Robeson High School and members of the Church of St. Luke and St.

Matthew’s to develop a large scale mural *Instructed art workshops and brainstorming sessions with individuals from both organizations. *Organized and led “Community Painting Day” with volunteers INTERNSHIPS The Brecht Forum/ Program Intern 2011 *Developed work plan for internship program with high school participants from DRUM (Desis Rising Up and Moving). The work plan combined African American history with art-making workshops to help teen participants explore the theme “Black August”, a celebration of black history in the month of August. *Instructed art workshops and guided teen participants of different skill levels in developing a zine to be distributed at the organization’s culminating Annual Black August Art Exhibition. *Designed art exhibition flyer and other online promotional items. Taught teen participants grassroots strategies in promotion and marketing for the event. *Curated the Annual Black August Art Exhibition (2011) with works from over 20 artists of color.
