The group was related to preventing drug abuse among youngsters. They distributed snacks among the children and took photos with them. They also planted a couple of saplings and took a tour of the facility as well. The DCO visited SOS Children’s Village Multan: The DCO along with his wife visited SOS Children’s Village Multan a day before the Independence Day and he brought a generous donation of a bull for the children with him on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha. He took a tour of the facility and some performances were held by the children for him.

EQUIP visited SOS Children’s Village Multan:

A club visited us a day before Independence Day. The group was related to

The DCO & CPO visited SOS Children’s Village Multan

on the Independence Day:

The DCO and the CPO came to visit SOS Children’s Village Multan on the

Independence Day. They brought sweets with them and distributed them amongst

everyone present here at SOS Children’s Village Multan. They both delivered a

speech as well in order to motivate the children. There were multiple performances

held by the children of SOS Children’s Village Multan in front of them.

Mr. Azhar Baloch and his wife visited SOS Children’s

Village Multan:

Mr. Azhar Baloch came to visit SOS Children’s Village Multan on the Independence

Day. He came along with his wife and brought sweets with them as well. The sweets

were then later distributed amongst everyone present here at SOS Children’s Village

Multan. There were multiple performances held by the children of SOS Children’s

Village Multan in front of them. They also partook in a cake cutting ceremony for

the celebration of the Independence Day of Pakistan.

Mrs. Naveen & Mrs. Noreen visited SOS Children’s

Village Multan:

Mrs. Naveen & Mrs. Noreen came to visit SOS Children’s Village Multan on the

Independence Day. They came and saw multiple performances that were organized

by the children here at SOS Children’s Village Multan. Mrs. Noreen was also

interviewed by local news channels. They also partook in a cake cutting ceremony

for the celebration of the Independence Day of Pakistan.

The M.A.R.S group visited SOS Children’s Village

Multan:

The M.A.R.S group visited SOS Children’s Village Multan; the group was lead by

Muhammad Abdul Rehman. The brought a lot of plants with them and with the

help of the children and gardener of SOS Children’s Village Multan planted them all

over the facility. A total of about 150 saplings were planted here at SOS Children’s

Village Multan on the 17th of August, 2019.

Allied Bank visited SOS Children’s Village Multan:

The staff of a nearby Allied Bank branch visited SOS Children’s Village Multan and

brought 50 plants with them that were then planted here at SOS Children’s Village

Multan.

Wedding ceremony of Naseem Khan:

The wedding ceremony of Naseem Khan was held at SOS Children’s Village

Multan. It was a marvelous night and occasion, guests from both sides of the family

came and enjoyed a lot and food was served to them as well.

Mr. Shameel Sheikh and his friends visited SOS

Children’s Village Multan:

Mr. Shameel Sheikh came along with his friends that came from a foreign country to

take a visit of SOS Children’s Village Multan. They were given a tour of all the

facilities of SOS Multan and were also given a brief history of SOS Multan as well.

They also met the staff members that were present at SOS Children’s Village Multan

at that time.

Mothers Meeting: 19/8/19

Topic: Tips to improve your child's productivity:

Firstly mothers gave understanding about topic then elaborate the topic with

examples. There are different tips that can improve the quality of child.

● Observance is the first step

● Distinguished your role as a mother as a teacher as a friend.

● Spend your time with your child.

● Teach your child to be responsible.

● Listen to your children

● Instill confidence in your child.

● Stay updated about your child's interests

● Keep your promises

● Give space to your child

● Ask them small questions.

These all tips properly elaborate to all mothers in the end ask mothers to give their

reviews about the topic.

General Report of CPP: 4/8/19

Topic: Good Touches and Bad Touches:

Firstly the psychologist gave an explanation to children about good touches and bad

touches with examples. Then take review of children.

Psychologist played a short film with the content of good touches and bad touches.

Children were divided into three groups of different ages.

We don't like Bad touches and we'll never allow other people to touch us in a bad

way.

Village Committee Visits:

Village Committee Members visit SOS Children’s Village Multan on a monthly

basis. In this month, Mrs. Haniya Shahid checked the Lists of F.O.S Committee with

their contact numbers, and finalized the lists after taking confirmation from the

members, who are joining the friends of SOS Committee starting from September,

2019. In this Month, Mrs. Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh checked the Sponsorship record

and fixed the problematic issues about the sponsorship record and matched it with

the intra record. Mrs. Haniya Shahid also instructed to give the pending lists of

Sponsors to her on every 15th & 30th of the month. Mrs. Saima Faisal also came and

checked the previous record of the psychologist and tries to discuss and fix the

problematic issues of the children. Mr. Muhammad Bilal also presented the budget

to Treasurer Mrs. Haniya Shahid for checking of the last month of July 2019 of SOS

Children’s Village Multan and SOS Youth Home Facility Multan. Mrs. Mahnaz

Fareed Sheikh asked Ms. Salma and Ms. Maria to write up by asking the brief

history of every child from their relatives through telephonic calls or when they

personally visited SOS Children’s Village Multan. Maintenance of all the houses in

the SOS Children’s Village Multan was also done in which all of the sanitary

conditions of each house were checked, it included all the wood work and any

plumbing issues that the houses may have had. Regular Hygiene

Checkup of SOS Children:

A regular checkup of children hygiene and health on daily basis in the dispensary of

SOS Children’s Village Multan by the village director, Ms. Salma and the appointed

dispenser is monitoring all the children.

A Walk to Show Solidarity with Kashmiris:

Aim: Expressing Solidarity with Kashmiris

Activity: Solidarity Walk

Held on: 30th August, 2019

Timing: 11:30 am to 12:15 Noon

Conducted by: students of Grade VIII to XII

Purpose of activity:

On 30th August, 2019 a walk was conducted by the students of SOS

Hermann Gmeiner Higher Secondary School Multan Grade VIII to XII. The purpose

of this activity was to express solidarity with the Kashmiris of Indian Occupied

Kashmir over unprecedented atrocities and aggression being committed by Indian

armed forces against them.

All the students carried off different banners, play cards and posters on which

different words for Kashmir were written, like ‘Say no to Indian Brutality in

Kashmir’, ‘Stop Genocide in Kashmir’, ‘Free Kashmir now’.

At this time they prayed for the safety and freedom of the Kashmir. They showed

Solidarity with Innocent Kashmiri brothers and sisters of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Our Heads Mrs. Safia Mehar and Mrs. Kanwal Farooq were also present with the

students. They guided and made the students aware of the situation in Kashmir.

Students made speeches at this occasion. Special prayers were offered for the

freedom of Kashmir. At the end of the activity National Anthem was played and all

the students moved back to their classes.

TEVTA Inspection Team Visit:

SOS Multan Institute of Technology take step to enhance its DAE student strength

from 25 to 50 per class, for this purpose TEVTA inspection team visited SMIT on

02nd August, 2019. Engr. Ismail (TEVTA coordinator) led the inspection team with

subject specialist.

Principal & Staff members of SOS Multan Institute of technology warmly welcomed

the inspectors team, Principal SMIT give brief summary to inspection team

regarding enhancement, after that they visited all classrooms and labs for inspection

purpose. All classrooms and Labs were well equipped with machinery/tools &

equipment and instructors; TEVTA inspection team members were fully satisfied

with this visit. After completion of labs visits they prepare the inspection report.

Celebration of Independence Day:

On 14th August, 2019 SMIT celebrated the 72nd independence day of Pakistan. At

08:30 am Flag Hoisting was started and after that little ceremoney was conducted in

SMIT’s auditorium.
