A Colorado summer tradition, DeVotchKa’s annual homecoming celebrates the soon-to-be fifth collaborative performance with your Colorado Symphony. JUST ANNOUNCED: Grammy Award® winning, Ozomatli, joins DeVotchKa to open the evening at Colorado’s most famous outdoor venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre! DeVotchKa returns with their lush orchestrations combined with the rich, expansive sounds of the Colorado Symphony in a stunning evening can only be described as “total bliss”.

Celebrate the stars and stripes of the good ol’ U.S. of A with your Colorado Symphony this Independence Day! It’s the return of the Family Friendly Fourth of July with even more surprises and star-studded talent. This family-friendly program features your favorite contemporary scores and the best fireworks the Front Range has to offer! Celebrate America with the Armed Forces Salute, The Stars and Stripes Forever, the 1812 Overture, God Bless America and a slew of your favorite hits from stage and screen.

Half Notes pre-concert family activities are held in the Lobby and in Gallery 2. Activities are individually curated for each concert and will feature rotating installations like composer dress-up, a composition station, and an instrument petting zoo.

This 40th celebration concert features memorable songs from the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities 40 year musical theatre repertoire spanning from their first musical production, Anything Goes in 1976 to the beautiful presentation of Death Takes a Holiday. Accompanied by the Colorado Symphony, actors from the past and future will join forces to present a concert reminding of us previous productions and showing us a glimpse into the future. Additionally, the Colorado Symphony will play selections from “West Side Story”, ”Miss Saigon” and Oklahoma”. The evening will also include other festive acknowledgements and presentations in honor of the Center’s 40th anniversary.

It’s a double billing of out-of-this stratosphere musicianship as two renowned Grammy winners, pop trumpeter Chris Botti and violinist Joshua Bell, join forces on tour including a special stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Botti and Bell, both leaders in their respective fields of jazz and classical, share much in common. In addition to performances at the White House and on the Grammy Awards telecasts, both artists are Grammy winners, have topped the Billboard Charts, and have sold countless records. Join us for an unforgettable evening with these two superstars!

The Colorado Symphony presents “Mozart Under Moonlight” for one-night-only. Jayce Ogren, to conduct the Colorado Symphony after a wildly popular winter presentation of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition leads the orchestra on a glorious evening celebrating the most revered composer of all time. Colorado Symphony Principal Horn Michael Thornton performs works by two Mozarts: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s well-known Horn Concerto No. 3, then trades his French horn for an eight-foot alphorn for Sinfonia pastorella by Leopold, Wolfgang’s father. Join us on the lawn for a summer tradition unlike any other.

This ground-breaking orchestral program - curated by the Garcia Family - features Garcia’s original compositions, as well as classic interpretations of his timeless standards that were hallmarks of Garcia and the Grateful Dead’s shows. Collaborating with a full symphony orchestra, renowned vocalist/guitarist Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, The Dead) lends his soul-soaked, introspective blend of rock, blues, R&B and jazz to Garcia’s masterworks.

September 3, prepare for a one-of-a-kind evening highlighting Robinson’s career, spanning more than four decades. With more than 4,000 songs to his credit including: “The Tracks of My Tears,” “I Second that Emotion,” and “You Really Got a Hold on Me”, this concert will be a surefire thriller full of showstopping music.
