Souper Friends Weekly Report
To begin, the report will be reflecting the actions that have been taken from, (18/10/2013) until
(6/11/2013).
We have made a complete confirmation that we will be working with “Armee du Salut”. We had our
second visit with the charity group where we brought more of our colleagues. We took this chance to
photograph the area and analyze how we will be planning out our events that will be taking place on the
premise of the food distribution center.
As for our recent work, due to the vacation there has been a slight slump in the physical activities and
meetings within the association. That given, the company is still moving in a forward direction with a
positive morale.
Issues Actions
IT/Media

The website is published and edited, being updated on a weekly basis with the upcoming events and news
Photos of recent events have been published online in multiple forums of media networking
Bankies and Ulule – Fundraising online reaching deadline soon
Video based advertising – first filming has been taken at the soup kitchen
Second filming will begin on the 7th November morning
Facebook likes: 560+
Event poster being redesigned for our upcoming new bake sale
Sponsorship & Finance
1. Create a financial documentation of the company
2. Get feedback on the current company’s standpoint
3. Create a relationship with local businesses
4. Budget the association (in accordance with each department)
The company profile is completed and in French as to be given to the sponsors
Incentives and reasons to invest have been discussed with the Armee du Salut, with positive feedback
There has been several positive responses from the contacted smaller businesses that show promise for donating food produce
Bankies and Ulule – Fundraising online reaching the deadline
Public access to accounting information
Logistics
1. Work on the transportation on produce to the venue and for the events
2. Assist Sponsorship and Finance
Currently having a stagnant situation
Highly reliant on sponsorship and finance
Now they will be working with events and will be in charge of transportation and purchasing of the materials needed
They are currently looking for sponsors for
PR/Events
1. Managing the upcoming events: Especially the upcoming bake sale
2. Create awareness around community (currently targeting ESCE students)
3. Staffing the events being held 4. Develop a system of sending people
to La Maison du Partage to assist
The first event on the 23/10/2013 completed with very positive reactions from the community.
The handprint (“Give A Hand”) caused a lot of attention and awareness about the Souper Friend’s campaign
List of interested students with names and contact information have been collated
The development of the next “Give A Hand” has been competed, necessary changes have been made and it is scheduled for the following Monday
More advertising on our actions so far will be displayed on the walls of the bake sale area. This will allow us to demonstrate our sincerity for the campaign
The department is developing a form where people will be able to sign up to visit and help out at the Soup Kitchen we have selected (the visits will start after 7/11/2013)
Creating a newspaper – distribution will be given to anyone who put their hand on “Give a Hand”
Human Resources
1. Ensure that all the people within the association are happy
2. Keep record of any conflict 3. Create Synergy
One on one interviews were held with each member of the association
They have communicated with people who have shown disinterest in the company and explained the importance of their participation
With 360 they created a newsletter for spread information
