Open Event
• On the Home dashboard, you will find all Events which you are invited to.
• Event Sections include Completed, Open and Pending Selection statuses. New events will be under Open status.
• In order to open the RFQ event go to Event section and click on the name of the RFQ.

Accept Agreement
To view the event content, the participant needs to accept the Bidder Agreement
1. To accept the Bidder Agreement click “Review Agreement”
2. Review the agreement and select “I accept the terms of this agreement”
3. Select “OK”
4. Select “OK” in the pop-up
If the participant does not accept the agreement, they cannot access the content of the event and they cannot be reinvited within the same event.

1. After accepting the Agreements, you have to select the lots you want to bid for. Choose “Select Lots”.
2. You will most likely want to bid for all, so select the first box, or just choose the positions you are interested in.
3. Then click on “Submit Selected Lots”.

There is also, information such as attachments, specifications, Ts&Cs, commercial details, or questions.
You will also see the fields where you enter your bid. Enter your bid for every line item or lot item and the answers to the questions if applicable.
*Please note that required fields are marked with an asterisk
Here you will find all the information related to the eRFQ, for example the time remaining until the Event ends.

Compose message
One of the useful functionalities is Compose Message. This allows the communication between the buyer and the invited supplier within the respective RFQ.
If you want to ask the eRFQ sender a question, you can click on the „Compose Message” button.
* You can also add an attachment to your message if needed.

In case of complex bids with a large number of lines and lot items, the „Excel Import” functionality can be useful.
Select the „Excel Import” button, the „Import Response from Excel” window will open, from where you need to choose the „Download Content” button, which will extract all the lines that require bids into an Excel file.

The Excel file downloaded from the eRFQ will contain a couple of worksheets related to the entire content of the event.
In the „Other Content” worksheet, all the lines and lot items for which you can manually enter the quotations will be available. (here you can see an example where the prices filled in the cells are marked with yellow background)
* Please do not change any format in the cells to be filled in, otherwise the bid cannot be uploaded within the event.

After you filled in all the prices in the Excel file, save it on your computer, click on „Browse”, select the file and click on „Upload”.
A message that the import was successful should pop-up on your screen and all the prices you have entered in the excel file will appear on the screen.

Submit Response
• After you have entered the response in all required fields, choose „Submit Response” button.
• A pop-up box will appear and then you can select „OK”from the Pop-up Window.
Save Bid
If you need to interrupt your bidding on the eRFQ,you have the option to use the „Save” button at
the bottom of the screen and revert to your work at a later point in time. Mind that the time will
continue to run and that you will need to submitthe bid in the expected timeframe.

Revise Response
• After the participant has submitted their response, a message will be displayed at the top of the screen stating “Your response has been submitted”.
• You will also see a button to „Revise Response”. The participant will have the possibility to revise their response as long as there is time remaining left and the event has not been closed by the buyer.
Pending Selection
• Once the event has been closed, the eRFQ will go into Pending Selection status until the GE representative selects and awards the winning participant.
Completed Event
• Once the event has been awarded, it will be shown in Completed status.
