The ALL subcategory is a generated subcategory that contains all of the resources (no duplicates) from all of the individual subcategories in the category. It enables users to search all subcategories simultaneously. You should apply the All Subcategories function when an administrative session includes the following activities:

•Adding and/or removing resources•Adding and/or removing categories and subcategories

To update the ALL subcategory to include changes to categories, subcategories, and resources, click the ALL Subcategories link in the navigation bar. This function automatically creates a new index for all subcategories under each category. The Create All Subcategories page displays the progress of the update. The system refreshes the page several times with a Please wait … message until the function completes.
