For years R. L. Griffin’s Blues Palace has been the place to be for the more mature

Blues lover in the South Dallas/Oak Cliff area. It has an established band with great

musicians with many of them being recording artists in their own right. The place

jumps every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. R. L. kind of reserves Saturday night

for his performances with Sunday night opens for shows by artists like Lady Lotion,

Gregg A. Smith, Big Charles Young, Carl Marshall and other out of town artists. -Roman Ross

Short Stack Blues Diva of KNON 89.3Every Monday is Blue for Short Stack and her Blue Monday morning

crew . This talented radio personality spins the oldies but goodies

and the latest blues from local and national artists. Short Stack, along

with hercohorts Lady Lotion, Sharnette Hyter and occasional drop in

DJ’s is just a delight on a day that most people hate. She can be heard

every Monday morning from 9 am - 12 pm on KNON 89.3FM.
