CrossRoads Winter Conference 2018 - T-412 Youth are invited to sign up and attend #CRWC18 Jan. 12th-15th, 2018. The cost is $175.00 per youth with a $50.00 deposit due by Nov. 1st. The cost includes

the conference, breakfast, and dinner. You will need money for lunch and spending. We have reserved 26

spots so please sign up today.

The Sidekicks will be going to see “The REAL Christmas Story” on Saturday, Nov. 25th. Anyone who signed up to attend needs to please pay $35 to Juanita Purvis by Oct. 29th. If you have signed up but will not be able to attend, please let Juanita know as soon as possible. (Dinner will be at Captain Steve’s Seafood after the show.)

Wednesday Night Meal - Please sign up if you plan to come eat with us this Wednesday. We’ll be having pork & rice, sweet potato casserole, black eyed peas, and a roll. Dinner is served from

5:30-6:30pm. The cost is $4 per person / $12 per family.

This week’s home game will be Friday at 7:30pm against Socastee. Please continue to lift these players up in prayer. Mark your calendars, we’ll have the team here for a special worship service on Wednesday, Oct. 25th at 7pm. This will be a great night to pray with your player in person.

5th Quarter - You are all invited to The 5th Quarter on Oct. 27th. Students, football players and cheerleaders from both schools will be invited to our youth building to hang out after the South V/s West

game. We’ll have hamburgers, hotdogs, and enjoy a bonfire. Make plans to come have a great time and

pray for opportunities to spread the love of Jesus to these youth.

Q&A w/ Pastor Jim- You’ll have a chance to get to know Pastor Jim better over sandwiches and tea tomorrow at 12pm. There will be another session tomorrow evening at 7pm. (Food will only be

served at the 12pm session.) We hope to see you here!

Women of Joy ~ Rescued - A sign up sheet has been posted for anyone interested in attending Women of Joy. The conference will be held May 4th-6th at the Myr tle Beach Convention Center . The cost is $99

per person, with a $25 deposit due by Nov. 5th. Please see the sign-up sheet for all details, including a 2

night stay in a condo option.

SideKicks are invited to sign-up for a sweet time of fellowship over lunch on Oct. 28th. We’ll leave the church at 11am to head to The Mayflower in Darlington. (You will be responsible for the cost of your own meal.)

The CWP class is now full. For those who signed up, class will be Saturday Nov. 11th beginning at 10am, and you will be qualifying the same day. The cost of the SC

CWP is $60, which covers the finger printing and processing fees. (We will only be offering the SC

permit due to time restraints.) You may bring your own handgun or rent one of the instructors for $25.00. All money is due on the day of the class.

Prayer Breakfast - You are all invited to sign up to attend a Prayer Breakfast this Wednesday morning. We’ll meet at Bazen’s at 8am to enjoy a great start to the day with prayer, breakfast, and

sweet fellowship.

Church Planning Committee Meeting - There will be a Church Planning Committee Meeting this Wednesday evening at 6pm in Wayne Dorriety’s Class (Rm.109). This committee includes the

chairperson of each committee. You will be receiving a call.

Women of Joy ~ Meeting - A brief informational meeting will be held for all ladies who have signed up to attend the Women of Joy Conference, this morning after Morning Worship. Anyone wanting to know more

about Women of Joy should attend as well. We’ll meet in Wayne Dorriety’s class (Rm. 109).

SFBC Women’s Banquet - Our Women’s Banquet will be Saturday, Nov. 4th at 6pm. It’s almost sold out! We are excited to have Mrs. Robin Cope as our special guest speaker for the evening with Worship

being lead by Travis & Krista Martin. If you would like to attend, please see the list of hostesses with

available tickets.

We will have a Fall Festival on Oct. 31st from 6-8pm. We are planning to have several rooms decorated with Bible related themes and “trunk or treat” style areas set up in the fellowship hall. Operation Christmas Child - October’s Item of the Month : Small toys for girls

and boys. We could also use more small stuffed animals, combs, brushes, colored

pencils, and small books. We are volunteering again this year at the O.C.C.

Processing Center in Charlotte on Monday, Dec. 11th. It’s an incredible experience

to see this ministry in action. Please sign up if you would like to attend.
