• Children let older people eat first• They eat:

– pizza– Hamburgers– Beef– Seafood– Soup– Rice– chicken

The geography

• 98,480 sq km and is slightly larger than Indiana

• Climate is cool and temperate with heavier rain in summer than winter

• Terrain is mostly hills and mountains; wide coastal plains in west and south

• Lowest elevation is the Sea of Japan at 1,950 m

Places in Korea

• Bongo-dong is right by the Sea of Japan

• Seoul is really close to the west side of South Korea

• Capital of South Korea is Seoul

The kids in Korea

• Love playing with friends and family

• Expected to always obey their parents

History

• 1392 to 1910 the Yi family ruled– Made a lot of changes and they taught

Chinese Confucius thinking of respect– Yi family also made an alphabet to teach

people to read and to right

Language •Chinese writing is mixed with Korean writing

•Also an alphabet called hahgul
