Speech and Language Therapy Parent Workshops at Greenfields Children’s Centre
Recreation Rd, Southall UB2 5PF
Language Development (Under 3’s) This workshop gives an overview of early language development in children under 3. It also provides practical advice and strategies that parents and practitioners can use to support the development of children’s early language and communication skills.
WHEN: Monday 12th December 2016 TIME: 9.30-11.00 am
Language Development (3-5 years) This workshop gives an overview of language development in children between 3-5 years. Families and practitioners are given practical advice on strategies and activities to try at home or at nursery to help support their child’s language development.
WHEN: Thursday 15th December 2016 TIME: 9.30-11.00 am
Workshops are for parents/practitioners only. Spaces for each workshop are limited. An interpreter can be arranged on request for families who speak English as an additional language,
provided we are given advance notice of at least 2 weeks.

Raj is a trained Breastfeeding Peer supporter:
• Make an appointment for a one to one session with Raj if you have any concerns or questions about breastfeeding your baby. No question is too small!
• Drop in to see her at Greenfields or Havelock Children’s Centres at one of our play groups or clinic sessions; meet a mix of other mums, some of whom are just starting breastfeeding, and share experiences with them

The Paiwand Advocacy service is able to help refugees and asylum seekers from all countries to exercise their rights and have their opinions taken into consideration.
The service can help by providing information; communicating with service providers on your behalf, or supporting you in doing so; assisting with writing letters and filling in forms; and many other things.
