What we do

• Support trainees within STFS with their career planning and progression

• Provide an impartial, confidential and effective careers advice service

• Run careers support workshops in trusts for those who give careers advice to trainee doctors

• Manage the NHS Medical Careers website on behalf of Health Education England

• Exploring ways of applying this generic model to the specific context of helping trainees

• Providing an overall framework for the career planning process

• Outlining basic career counselling skills that can be used in discussions with individuals or groups of trainees

From 1:1 sessions:•A very useful session. A good facilitator who allowed me to express my concerns and thoughts and who made good suggestions
