Get More out of your Camping and Caravanning.

Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites are a very economical way of getting more out of

Camping and Caravanning Club membership. They are arranged by volunteers for the ben-

efit of all club members, it is not necessary to be a member of the organising group to

attend.

Both may be on an established campsite with facilities available, usually a reduced fee has

been negotiated. Some are at venues where camping is not normally available allowing

members to visit different locations or attend nearby events.

Social events or gatherings are often arranged but members do not have to take part in

these if they don’t wish to. You can be sure to make new friends and be able to get advice

and information from fellow members, so if you haven’t camped with a DA or section of

The Camping and Caravanning Club, look at the ones listed in this book that have been ar-

ranged by fellow members from groups within the South West Region.

These events are planned well in advance. It is occasionally necessary to make changes.

Please check the out and about section of the Camping and Caravanning Magazine or the

organisers’ websites or Facebook pages near the time and if possible contact the stewards

to confirm opening times and directions.
