REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Coast Research Laboratory (GCRL) is pleased to host the 2019 Annual
Meeting of the Southern Association of Marine Laboratories. Meeting activities will take place at GCRL’s Marine
Education Center at its Cedar Point campus (101 Sweetbay Drive, Ocean Spring, MS 39564). Directions are available
at http://gcrl.usm.edu/about_us/location.php; NOTE: Use Google Maps for mobile-based directions.
A block of 20 rooms has been reserved for May 4 - 7 at Gulf Hills Hotel & Conference Center (13701 Paso Road,
Ocean Springs, MS 39564) at a reduced nightly rate of $81.99 (plus tax and fees). Please call the hotel directly (866-
875-4211) and mention “SAML Meeting at Gulf Coast Research Laboratory” to book your room at this rate.
Conference rate and room availability – up to the 20 rooms – will be guaranteed until April 15.
The nearest airport to GCRL is Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in Gulfport, MS (http://www.flygpt.com/).
Multiple rental car vendor options are available adjacent to baggage claim there.

coordinate meeting registration, which is REQUIRED, and be able to assist with other logistical issues, as needed.
