SPARE PARTS CONTROL

IcarusMRO

IcarusMRO’s inventory module is a comprehensive transparent program designed to track serialized and non-serialized aircraft parts in one or more hangars, warehouses, fly-away kits or other stocking locations with controlled user access.

The following presentation highlights the exceptional control this module provides for all events associated with stocking, provisioning for and reporting on aircraft spare part assets, including special tools and calibration.

Please note: although this program will work for you out of the box, we specialize in customizing our versions to fit your needs and work flow; not only do we make it affordable, it’s the right thing to do.

• Asset Management– Stock parts in one or more locations and

control all from a single source.– Track parts from “cradle to grave.”– Use ‘general ledger’ or accounting codes to

accumulate accurate history and cost.– Tracks Shelf Life to ensure continued

airworthiness and stock rotation.

• Asset Management– Parts sorted “FIFO” (first in, first out) for shelf

life control when issuing to aircraft.– Transfer parts between warehouses and

maintain traceability while in transit.– Return unused parts to inventory; same

location, under same batch number as received.

– Manage membership in a parts LOANER pool with the Purchasing module (included).

• Asset Management– At time of receipt or as required, print bar

code labels for all parts and tools.– Label stock location with bar code for faster

physical inventory.– Special tools, jacks, torque wrenches etc., are

controlled separately from aircraft parts. – Keep track of calibration requirements.

• Purchase and Repair Orders– IcarusMRO includes a comprehensive

purchasing and repair module. – Purchase parts, send parts for repair, several

cost fields tracking new, repaired overhauled costs.

– Purchase in any currency and automatically convert when receiving part to base currency.

– Use of Purchasing and Repair Orders is optional but highly recommended.

• Internal Audit– Use “Smart Count” to initiate and control a

physical inventory while daily operations continue.

“Smart Count” will print count sheets sorted by stock location and reconcile parts after all count sheet data has been entered.

• System Requirements– A computer network of some kind if multi-user

capabilities are desired.– Microsoft XP and Access (2002-2003) on

each station.– Program requires user login and password

which is setup to allow or deny access to system functions, e.g. VIEW ONLY.

– Comes with a multitude of reports, all which can be customized.
