Spacer for mechanical ventilation circuit
Combi-Haler® is a spacer designed to be used in invasive or non invasive mechanical ventilation circuits.
Combi-Haler® allows for the use of both a vibrating mesh nebulizer and a pMDI simultaneously.
Intended for adults suffering from Chronic Obstructive PulmonaryDisease (COPD), asthma or chronic obstructive respiratory failure, Combi-Haler® can be used in hospital and for home hospitalization.

PerformancesPulmonary deposition x 2 with a nebulizer and a pMDI (in comparison with a traditional assembly).
Security
Transparency : Combi-Haler®’s transparent material allows for the monitoring of the circuit.
No change of the ventilator settings : reduces the risk of errors.
Single patient use : limits the risk of contaminations.
Simplicity
Combi-Haler® was designed with a light material to not put weight on the ventilation circuit.
Thanks to its specific adaptator, Combi-Haler® can be used with a soft mist MDI (Respimat®).

Combi-Haler® can be used for many hours.
With Combi-Haler®’s design and airtight caps, it can remain on the ventilation circuit for several hours.

Combi-Haler® double the pulmonary deposition of Amikacin (with a nebulizer).
Combi-Haler® double the pulmonary deposition of medication (with a pMDI).
Combi-Haler® reduces deposition by impaction and/or by sedimentation of substances in the spacer and the circuit.
