Introduction This course is for people who want to start their Spanish learning. We provide to you with strategies and activities one month later than the end of the course.

You have 5 daily hours in 5 days with grammatical contents and activities to enjoy the stay in Salamanca.

Tourism Spanish Course

Introduction This course is designed to develop in minimum time of a week with 20 hours to theoretical classes and 5 hours to practical classes. The sessions are distributed in 4 theoretical classes in the morning and one practical class in the afternoon. The program includes school activities like the visits to different places (2 visits in a week). We recommend the suitable duration of the course is the 2 weeks: 40 theoretical hours, 10 practical hours and 4 school visits altogether. The students´ level can be B2 to MCER or B1. We recommend this level of knowledge to be able to conclude the objectives and not waste the classes’ time.

General aims: - Understanding articles of traditional and digital press with a level about economical-commercial and professional matters. - Writing company´s correspondence in the more elementary level: simple letters, messages, interior system notes) - Taking part in communicative professional situations fluently. Specific aims: - Providing to the student with technical, methods and resources to develop communicative competence that they need to manage in different science and technical professional contexts. - Acquiring and dominating oral and writing linguistics resources (textual, syntactic, lexical and morphological) that you need to use in different business contexts. - Analyzing different communicative situations, which need some communicative strategy, from real contexts. - Exercising common situations in the Spanish business world by means of concrete simulations: negotiations, oral presentations, telephone calls and writing electronic and traditional texts. - Knowing the typology of business texts. - Using the writing techniques and the style recommendations the text elaboration.

1. Oral expression and comprehension: Producing speech in basic oral situations inside the administrative and commercial activity to the

Introduction The main aim to the course is to provide to the student with properly knowledge to achieve the official certificate of Spanish at Business. The recommendable students´ level is C1. There is a combination between classes and practical activities related to the business world. We have programmed 40 theoretical hours and 10 practical hours during 2 weeks and assorted additional activities. Its possible book only 1 week.

Two weeks are necessary by the design and the timetables; we have specific programs in legal, exportation, importation and negotiation language. These programs are available to the student´s petition (individual or small groups)

Advanced Business Spanish Course

This book is recommended to B2- C1 students who want to improve their knowledge and develop skills in the Spanish business world. It orients to improve the linguistic competence, socio-cultural competence, socio-linguistic competence, pragmatic competence and intercultural competence.

General aims: - Formation and professional training to work in European and American contexts, companies and institutions. - Specific Spanish variations: economical, commercial and financial. - Analyzing different communicative situations, which need some communicative strategy, from real contexts. - Producing speech related to the professional practice with a properly vocabulary to the position and the communicative action.

Specific aims: - Providing to the student with technical, methods and resources to develop communicative competence that they need to manage in different science and technical and scientist professional contexts. - Acquiring and dominating oral and writing linguistics resources (textual, syntactic, lexical and morphological) that you need to use in different business contexts. - Analyzing different communicative situations, which need some communicative strategy, from real contexts. - Improving the communicative and discursive techniques to achieve the communicative intentions (argumentation techniques, exposition, description, narration, explanation …) - Capacity to sell a good using the Spanish language. Introduction This course improves the basic competence to manage in sanitary assistance contexts. We pretend to give the students the necessary means to work in a environment related to their occupations and to understand and produce basic messages. Communications: patient-doctor, professional-professional, administration- professional are the communicative central theme for the course. The minimum duration of the course is one week, although the advisable duration is 2 weeks with 4 classes in the morning and one in the afternoon. (Total: 40 theoretical hours and 10 practical hours). In this course, there are some different excursions to socio-sanitary contexts. Communicative - Sanitary assistance and its structure. - Close institutions: hospital. - Internal medicine: diagnosis and treatments. - Surgery. The operating room. Pre-operating and post-operating cares - Filling sanitary questionnaires and forms in an elementary level. - Starting and having a videoconference, email, forum …

Practical contents 1. Oral expression and comprehension - Relations with the patients: directly and by telephone. - Hospital organization: hiring of specialized professional, healthy information… - Searching, transmitting and asking for information about sanitary themes. - Oral expositions about currently socio-sanitary theme. - Discussion about sanitary themes in the media. The students will have to defend their point of view and argue. 2. Writing expression and comprehension - Elaborating typical sanitary texts: informs, information letters, complaints, etc. - Filling hospital documents: cards, medical reports, medical histories…) - Writing advertisement to job offer/demand. - Translating different kinds of sanitary documents. - Summary notes and informs after a meeting.

Introduction This course improves the basic competence to manage in sanitary assistance contexts.

We pretend to give the students the necessary means to work in an environment related to their occupations and to understand and produce basic messages. Communications: patient-doctor, professional-professional, administration- professional are the communicative central theme for the course.

The minimum duration of the course is one week, although the advisable duration is 2 weeks with 4 classes in the morning and one in the afternoon. (total: 40 theoretical hours and 10 practical hours).

In this course, there are some different excursions to socio-sanitary contexts. The student could the possibility to look up the vocabulary or communication doubts in the professional context.

Introduction The main aim of this course is to provide to student with the lexical-semantic abilities and formules to manage in business and social contexts. The course duration is the 40 theoretical hours and 10 practical hours and additional activities. You can book only 1 week.

The sessions are distributed during two weeks, with four hours in the morning and one in the afternoon. During these weeks, we enjoy programmed visits to meet different professional sectors like wineries, pork butcher´s shops or commercial facilities.
