I will deliver patient care (role/ function) in

the continuity of care realm, so that with every

person I encounter, I can say that I have

helped to make their stay here better, and

ensured they can move back into the

community (goal). I determine to approach

my job with gratitude every single day because

I know I am called to serve (attitude). Also, I

will use my gifts of optimism, resilience and

compassion to brighten the day for others

DEMYSTIFYING PROMOTION

Promotion refers to a vertical job movement whereby one is

moved to a higher job grade. One must have minimum time in job

grade of 1.5 years before one can be recommended for

promotion.

He must meet the minimum requirements of the next higher

grade in terms of education, technical competence, human

relations skills, management breadth and problem solving ability.
