Introduction: Today there is much focus on worship in the Lord’s church. How are we supposed to worship God? Is there more than one way (contemporary and traditional)?

1. IF THERE IS A RIGHT WAY TO WORSHIP, THERE MUST BE A WRONG WAY TO WORSHIP GOD… The Wrong Way (Vain Worship)… Lev. 10:1-2 1Cor. 4:6 2John 9-11 Matt. 15:9 Gen. 6:22; 7:5 Matt. 7:21 – If We Are Not Worshiping Properly, We Are Taking His Name In Vain… Ex. 20:7

2. OUR WORSHIP MUST BE DONE IN SPIRIT (RIGHT AT-

TITUDE)… Notice Some Biblical Examples Of A Proper Atti-tude Towards God… Moses-Ex. 3:5 Joshua- Josh. 5:15 Da-vid- Ps. 33:8 Ps. 89:7 Ps. 95:6 Ps. 111:9 Ps. 122:1 Hab. 2:20 Is. 8:13 Matt. 6:9 Heb. 12:28 Rev. 4:8-11

He Is The Central Point In Our Worship.

We Should Feel This Way About Him Because Of What He Did For Us

On The Cross 3. OUR WORSHIP MUST BE DONE IN TRUTH… Truth
