Customer Value Proposition:
Duralan G is an Anti-Refl ective (AR) coated glass that has a high performance coating that reduces refl ection to less than 0.2%. Anti–Refl ective glass windows are used to protect and enhance displays. Duralan G is used for applications in high ambient light conditions where surface refl ections are detrimental to the viewer.
Anti-Refl ective coatings are designed to reduce refl ected light off surfaces and improve contrast in the viewable area. Anti-refl ective glass offers maximum transparency allowing optimum viewing through the glass at all times. The clarity of the window makes anti-refl ective glass suitable for all applications where high resolution and exceptional clarity is desired. Transmission of the overall window will increase 3-4% per surface when AR coating is used.
Duralan G windows can be provided with a wide variety of PSA backed gaskets for assembly into bezels and frames. Gaskets and sealants can be applied to windows to provide superior environmental protection. Windows can be kitted or integrated with frames or housings into turnkey assembles. Parker Chomerics supply chain management services are available to reduce customer supply chain complexity for these enclosures.
Our Duralan G windows are available in custom thicknesses and sizes. Depending on materials specified, thickness can range from 0.020” to 0.500” (0.5mm to 12.7mm) and overall size up to 28” x48”(711 cm to 1219 cm).

Physical Properties
Product InformationLamination
Duralan G glass can be laminated with a PVB interlayer to provide safety glass with antirefl ective properties. The soft PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlay acts to minimize sharp glass ejection and maintain a barrier in the event of breakage. PVB also adds to reduce the sound transmission through the glass laminate. A wide variety of thicknesses and sizes are available for fabrication into fi nal shapes. Screenprinting can also be added to a monolithic or laminated glass for decorative purposes and to mask bezel areas. Black border and multicolor logos are easily added to the window. Customer provided graphics can be incorporated into the design. Parts up to 28” x 48” (711 mm x 1219 mm) can be screen printed with any graphic.
Optical Properties
Anti-refl ective Coatings Anti-refl ective coatings (AR) are used in high performance applications where high light transmission and low refl ection are desired. AR coatings are used to increase the contrast of a display by reducing ambient light refl ections.
Duralan G glass meets diffi cult physical environmental requirements where other materials would not be suitable. Maintaining high optical transparency and maximum clarity in demanding applications makes this glass suitable for a wide variety of applications.
