Thermogravimetric Analyzer TGA 4000

TGA is a quantitative technique:

The weight of a sample is continuosly monitored while

exposed to a change of Temperature in a controlled

atmosphere. It is also possible to measure decrease or increase

of weight in isothermal mode or changing the atmosphere

around sample.

Auto Stepwise TGA can give very good separation for

overlapping decompositions.

Thermogram is showing Auto Stepwise applied.

TGA can quantitatively measure the solvent trapped inside

crystals.

Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)

Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is a type of mass spectrometry which is

capable of detecting metals and several non-metals at concentrations as low as one part in 1015 (part

per quadrillion, ppq) on non-interfered low-background isotopes. This is achieved by ionizing the

sample with inductively coupled plasma and then using a mass spectrometer to separate and quantify

those ions.

World's Smallest Laboratory FT-IR Spectrometer

The new ALPHA is in a class of its own; with its small footprint, affordable price, exchangeable

sampling accessories and easy to-use software; the new ALPHA will find a place in every

laboratory.

The small footprint of the ALPHA makes it ideal for quality control. The ALPHA in

combination with Bruker Optics powerful OPUS/Mentor software and extensive infrared

libraries provide easy-to-use turn key solutions. Unknown substances are identified in seconds.

Sampling modules allow the analysis of almost any kind of sample (e.g. solids, liquids or gases).

Transmission, diffuse and external reflection and attenuated total reflection (ATR) FT-IR

sampling accessories are available with the Quick Snap™ interface.

Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry

(GC/MSD)

Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is an analytical method that

combines the features of gas-chromatography and mass spectrometry to identify

different substances within a test sample.

Capillary Flow Technologies enhance performance, productivity, and reliabilityAdvantages include:• Improved retention time stability for heavy-matrix samples• More stable chromatographic baselines • Shorter analysis times• Less source cleaning • Longer column life

The heart of performance:The combination of the Extractor EI source, heated monolithic gold-plated quartz quadrupole, and Triple-Axis Detector delivers the most sensitive, reliable results.

Agilent’s Inert Flow Path Split/Splitless inlet option ensures the inertness of flow path surfaces, allowing analytes to safely pass from injector to detector

GC/MSD high-sensitivity analysis for the full range of

biofuel analytes. The system is easily set up for

simultaneous SIM/SCAN data acquisition to maximize

sensitivity and selectivity, while providing full spectra

for qualitative analysis.

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a technique in analytical chemistry

used to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture. It relies on pumps to pass a

pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture through a column filled with a solid adsorbent

material. Each component in the sample interacts slightly differently with the adsorbent material, causing

different flow rates for the different components and leading to the separation of the components as they

flow out the column.

Total Organic Carbon Analyzer (TOC)

Total Organic Carbon Analyzer (TOC Analyzers):A TOC measures the amount of total organic carbon present in a liquid or water

sample. TOC detection is important because of the effects that TOCs may have on

health, not to mention the environmental effects and implications for the

pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. a TOC analyzer always requires some

accounting for the inorganic carbon (IC) that is always present.
