Since 1976, the Annals gather under the same cover original articles, drafted in English and in French, by worldwide prominent scholars, leading practitioners, students of the Institute and other specialists in air and space law. They deal not only with legal topics of current interest but also with those problems of growing concern in the realm of emerging air and space activities. Their multidisciplinary implications are also considered: technical, socio-economic, or political, as well as their repercussions on international organizations. The Annals have become a standard source of reference in the fields of air and space law. They can be regarded as a solid working reference book and an important scientific tool, covering three main areas. The first part is concerned with air and space law and their impact on related subjects; the second part includes book reviews, comments on the most recent leading cases and a survey of activities in international air and space law organizations, while the third part reproduces important legislative texts. A cumulative index is also provided. The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Dr. Paul Stephen Dempsey, Tomlinson Professor of Law and Director of the Institute and Centre of Air and Space Law. ANNALES DE DROIT AÉRIEN ET SPATIALLes Annales de droit aérien et spatial sont publiées

chaque année par l'Institut et Centre de droit aérien et spatial, Université McGill, Montréal, Canada. Depuis 1976,les Annales rassemblent, sous une même couverture, desarticles originaux, en anglais et en français, d'éminents universitaires, praticiens, étudiants de l'Institut et autres spécialistes en droit aérien et spatial. Elles traitent non seulement des problèmes d'intérêt juridique actuel mais aussi de ceux qui se développent à lumière des nouvelles activités aéronautique et spatiales. Ces dernières sont aussi analyséesdans leurs multiples implications techniques, socio-économiquesou politiques au sein des organisations internationales.

Les Annales sont devenues un outil de référence que l'onretrouve dans la majorité des bibliothèques académiques et gouvernementales, chez les compagnies aériennes et les cabinets spécialisés dans le domaine. Elles peuvent être considérées comme un ouvrage de référence valable et un outilscientifique important couvant trois principaux domaines: la première partie concerne le droit aérien et spatial et son influencesur des sujets pertinents; la deuxième partie comprend des critiques de livres, des commentaires des plus récentes décisions judiciaires et une revue des activités des organisations internationales de droit aérien et spatial. La troisième partiereproduit des textes législatifs importants. Elles contiennentégalement un index cumulatif.
