Goldsmiths CollegeIn vibrant New Cross, Goldsmiths College is a cutting-edge art college whose former students include famous artists such as Damien Hurst, Bridget Riley and Malcolm McLaren. This area of South East London is now known for its buzzing atmosphere.

Timeless Blackheath and historic Greenwich are just a few minutes away. Transport links are excellent with trains into Central London taking just 10 minutes.

Activities: every afternoon and evening, one full day excursion a week

Accommodation: homestay, single or shared room

GreenwichSet beside the River Thames, Greenwich is a lovely area of fashionable East London. There are lots of parks and famous buildings, as well as fast transport links into the centre of the city.

The school is based in the Old Royal Naval College, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All of the homestay families are a bus ride away.

Daytime activitiesSports in the local parks and many visits to London’s premier tourist destinations.

Evening activitiesQuiz nights, discos, karaoke and films.

SKOLA Discover LondonBased in Gloucester Gate, on the edge of Regent’s Park and in the heart of Central London, SKOLA’s Discover London programme is ideally placed to explore the capital.

Their innovative English Outdoors activities include scavenger hunts in the park and orienteering challenges around the local area, with appropriate supervision.

St Hilda’s CollegeStudy in the beautiful surroundings of a real Oxford University College. St Hilda’s College in

situated right on the river, next to Magdalen Bridge, and is a short walk from the city centre.

LessonsLessons include several hours of ‘interactive English’ where students create their own videos, newspaper articles, blogs or drama productions. Students take the Trinity Spoken English Exam.

Daytime activities & evening activitiesSports, fun and cultural activities, including ‘Freestyle Afternoons’ when students spend time in Oxford shopping, socialising or just relaxing.

Excursion destinationsLondon, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cambridge, Thorpe Park and Windsor Castle.

Be inspired by beautiful Oxford, home to the world famous university and its historic colleges. Explore the city’s many treasures on foot — or learn to punt, like many Oxford scholars before you.

Clare CollegeClare College is the second oldest Cambridge University College. The

beautiful First Court was built in 1326, and the college is located in the heart of the city, close to the famous Kings College Chapel.

Brighton Language CollegeBrighton is the perfect place to spend a summer. Visit the famous Pavilion, shop in the many fashionable boutiques, or spend time with new friends on the beach.

England’s South Coast is home to many of the UK’s finest seaside resorts.

Join in the party and learn English at one of a selection of destinations that all offer fun by the sea and in the beautiful surrounding countryside — the UK’s newest National Park, the South Downs.


HastingsA friendly school with a family atmosphere, 10 minutes walk from the beach. The school is in a historic building, with nearby shops, cafés, parks, amusements and a new modern art gallery.

Hastings and Eastbourne are both lovely small towns on the coast with many beautiful old buildings and attractive promenades.

EastbourneThe school is in a beautiful 18th Century mansion that used to be home to the Dukes of Devonshire. Set in its

own 10-hectare park, the school is just 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of Eastbourne, and the beach.

Chelsea Foundation Soccer School Learn English and improve your soccer skills with the 2012 European champions!

LessonsEnglish lessons are fun and communicative. The programme includes a range of activities designed to allow you to practice and improve your English within a soccer context. English teachers are provided by the world-famous Berlitz School.

CoachingFootball coaching is led by FA Qualified Coaching Staff using the Chelsea FC Foundation soccer school model. This programme is unique in providing in-depth training covering technical skills, tactical appreciation, psychology and physical training techniques.

FacilitiesChelsea FC Foundation’s state-of-the-art training facility is a world-class training centre equipped with high quality pitches. It is also the home of Chelsea Football Club men’s team.

Activities: every afternoon and evening, including 1 full-day and one half-day excursion a week

English + Football

If you love football, you will love our football-themed summer programmes. You can improve your English while improving your soccer skills. Choose to train with top clubs Chelsea or Manchester City, or by the sea at the home of Premier League contenders, Brighton & Hove Albion.

Alternatively, ask us about our English or Spanish plus football programmes at the legendary Real Madrid, with teachers from Berlitz Manchester.

Manchester CityLearn English and improve your soccer skills with the 2012 English Premiership champions!

Lessons

Students will receive all the benefits of the ELC Manchester Academy General English programme, including interactive lessons by fully-qualified teaching staff.

Coaching

In the afternoons, students will train with FA-qualified coaching staff at Manchester City’s state of the art Platt Lane training facility, home to the Manchester City youth team.

Facilities include indoor and outdoor pitches, gyms and training rooms. Lessons will include skills, tactics, and formations, as well as psychology and nutrition.

Dolphin LanguagesCombine English lessons with top quality soccer coaching on the South Coast at the home of Premiership contenders Brighton & Hove Albion FC

LessonsGeneral English lessons are taught by fully-qualified teachers from Dolphin Languages in Brighton. Students also learn the language of football, with lessons including the idiomatic language spoken by top players.

CoachingTraining includes soccer skills practice, and lessons on tactics, formations and the culture and history of the beautiful game.
