Zeta Solis Nano

The Zeta Solis Nano combines Zeta’s SolisPOLE and SmartScape Nano; providing an entirely unique andversatile solar street lighting solution, suited to a wide range of applications.

Maintenance free batteries are stored within the pole and are easily accessible for replacement. Zeta’sintelligent Energy Management System (Zeta PS800 Controller) situated inside the pole, optimises energycapture and continually monitors the batteries’ condition to ensure year round reliability.

Oxford Science Park

Zeta Specialist Lighting upgrade the legacy lighting on a busy path frequently used by pedestrians andcyclists working and visiting Oxford Science Park. The Zeta Solis Nano, an innovative, award-winning solar-powered street and area light, providing the Park Services Manager with a powerful, environmentally-friendly solution to make the area safe and secure.

In order to further optimise energy efficiency, Zeta incorporated PIR sensor capability. When the sensorsare activated, the Solis Nano runs at 4W, the light stays on for one minute, if it does not detect anymovement, and then dims down. The units are set to run from dusk until dawn.

I have used Zeta products for over 10 years and found them always innovative, ahead oftheir competitors and a great company to work with. The new system ticks all of the boxesand pays for itself. We’ve achieved improved lighting which has enhanced the safety and

security of visitors to the site, the modernity and aesthetic appeal is very good and inkeeping with a business park, and it’s an added bonus that we are doing our bit to protect

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead

Following a competitive tender process, Zeta Specialist Lighting secured a £2 million contract to supplylow-energy LED luminaires to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM).

The roll-out was completed on schedule and feedback from residents has been positive. LEDs providesuperior illumination and improved colour rendering than traditional street lighting technologies. WithCMS systems integrated within each street luminaire, light levels can now be controlled centrally;improving estate management and maintenance.

This was a major project and Zeta successfully rolled it out in the short timescale of 12 months.We made the decision to undertake this project to provide our residents with better value formoney street lighting and to reduce energy usage for the benefit of the environment.

Zeta Bespoke Solar Signage Kit

The award-winning Zeta Bespoke Solar Signage Kit is a bespoke solution for lighting outdoor totems andmonoliths. Each kit is a bespoke solution to provide optimal performance and substantial energy and costsavings, making the Zeta solution the best in the market.

The Bespoke Solar Signage Kit includes discreet aluminium backed PV Solar Panels, Zeta’s PS800 Controller,long life AGM batteries and, if required, PIR movement sensors, all alongside various lighting options: ZetaEmbedded LED Panels (ELP), Zeta Light Guide Panels (LGP) and Zeta LED Lattice Ladder.

Our off-grid solution eliminates the need for digging and cabling, meaning install time and costs are evenmore significantly reduced.

Zeta Light Guide Panel

Designed, machined and assembled in the UK, Zeta Light Guide Panels provide a flexible and efficient backlighting solution for a variety of applications; including signage, shop fitting, architectural, commercial andadvertising.

Each Light Guide Panel is made from the highest quality acrylic and is etched with a unique, optimumperformance grid pattern. This pattern ensures optimum light spread and shadow free illumination.

Zeta’s ability to provide a solar powered solution was integral to the success of this project.Illumination was critical, without light, the wayfinding system wouldn’t have been fit for

purpose. The Solar Signage Kit seamlessly powers the totems from dawn till dusk, all yearround.

Bouygues Energies & Services - Hatfield

Bouygues Energies & Services has upgraded the lighting in its 50,000 sq. ft. Hatfield warehouse, choosingZeta Specialist Lighting’s robust, highly effective, cost and energy saving LED technology. The new lightingwill lower the company’s energy bills by £5,000 per annum, reduce energy usage by 45,000 kWh andshrink its CO2 emission by 23 tonnes. In addition, Bouygues will realise a further £500 cost saving eachyear, the amount spent on maintenance.

Bouygues Energies & Services identified the need to improve lighting in ourwarehouse, especially within the racking areas. The Zeta solution allowed us to

improve lighting whilst reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.

Bespoke Retrofit Solutions

In instances where it is impractical to replace existing fittings, Zeta offers customers the freedom to retainrather than replace current housings and create tailor made solutions to suit their needs.

We can create bespoke retrofit gear trays to work within the existing housings. This allows our clients toutilise the benefits of LED such as increased efficiency and lifetime, energy and maintenance savings andimproved lighting levels whilst minimising disruption and avoiding any infrastructure changes.

Zeta also understands the challenges that can come with older or historic listed buildings and the lightingwithin and surrounding them. We have extensive experience providing bespoke retrofit solutions thatcomply with English and Scottish heritage approvals; ensuring new lighting is sympathetic to itssurroundings whilst still achieving maximum efficiency and improved illumination.

Sydney Buildings Heritage Lighting Project, Bath and North East Somerset Council

The City of Bath is designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and replacing its existing sodium heritagelighting with a suitable LED solutio, that met the needs of the heritage bodies, residents and the council,was key.

Sydney Buildings is now benefitting from historic style street lighting with the benefit of modern, energy-efficient LEDs, thanks to Zeta’s SmartScape Heritage LED retrofit solution. SmartScape Heritage was thefirst LED module that fulfilled both the residents’ and BANES’ requirements for this heritage environment.

Over a three and a half year period, multiple combinations of heritage lanterns (ten in total) using a widerange of LED modules, were trialled in Sydney Buildings, but not on LED module met all of the desiredfeatures for this heritage environment.

The Metcraft-produced lantern with the Zeta SmartScape Heritage produces a warm lightwell suited to our heritage street in Bath. Our residents are particularly pleased with thespread of the light both along the pavement and across the road whilst minimising light

pollution into the upper level windows of their houses.
